That is awesome. The Catholic Church does not pray to the saints that much in service, if at all. We say the Nicene creed, and also pray for others.

Sadly, there are not many Orthodox churches nearby, but I can watch a streamed one, and then ask my parents if we can go to an Orthodox church for one Sunday.

We were in Romania two summers ago (this summer was Japan). We walked into a little church in Brasov and they had just started an unction service. The two priests were so welcoming and kind. They quickly asked us in and saw my cassock. We met after the service and after I told them I’m a Reader back in California, they were so full of joy. They learned I was a convert and said, “You made the right choice, brother. You are on the right path.“ we had a nice conversation and then we left. We venerated all their many relics. I had an ear to ear smile. Romania was a beautiful country.
