God has one church, blesses the truth, wants no schisms.
And Eph 4:5 reads , One Lord , One Faith , One Baptism .

But many do not always agree as what Lord and Faith and BAPTISM // BAPTISO , mean ??

I will give and explanation as to what The Greek text means about ONE BAPTISM , and if anyone disagrees , JUST check the Greek TEXT and see ,

The Greek word BAPTISM is NOT in the Greek text ?

Here is what the Greek says what it is ??

It is the Greek word BAPTISMA , PERIOD >

So what does ONE BAPTISMA , then mean ??

It means one BAPTIZER , called the HOLY SPIRIT and ACTS 1:5 and other verse prove it .

His Bride has always affirmed:

one Lord, one faith, one baptism; - Ephesians 4:5

There is one Lord and one God, because the dominion of Father and Son is a single Godhead. The faith is said to be one because we believe similarly in Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Baptism is one. We are all baptized in the same way in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are immersed three times so that the sacrament of the Trinity may be apparent…. There is one baptism in the Spirit, in water and in fire. –.

Since you believe in WATER BAPTISM , John 1:31 says that Joh was to be manifest to Israel .

Do you have a verse that says that WATER BAPRISM was given to GENTILES ??

Building, denomination,.....
God has one church, blesses the truth, wants no schisms.
That's a beautiful sentiment. The idea of unity in diversity is powerful, especially within the context of faith. Despite the different denominations and places of worship, the shared belief in one body and one church under Christ brings people together. It's a reminder of the common purpose and love that binds the community.
You're right to say that the church is not a building nor a denomination.

That sound good and all, but scripture from our early apostles does not make mention of such things as "one church." It talks about the body of Christ, those who are born again.

It is difficult to have a conversation when what one writes is mistrusted by one's interlocutor.

Scripture tells us The Church IS His Body. I guess you may believe that Christ has 2 bodies?

I think you need to re-read scripture some there.

It mentions about the body of Christ, but it doesn't make mention of any church being that body. I know there are certain churches from antiquity who would love scripture to identify theirs as being the only "true" body of Christ, but Jesus in Revelation doesn't write one letter to just one church, there are many.

And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

Ephesians 1:20-23

That he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Pay attention to what I said, and also what scripture says that you just posted,...

He is the head of the body, the church. The body of Christ is the church. I know that can go against the grain for some on here, but that is what scripture says.

Lol, are we going to go back and forth on this.

You posted the first line of scripture from Colossians,...

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Do you think that all those letters that Paul wrote to the churches were for Catholics? Were they Pentecostal? What denomination were all the churches that Jesus spoke to in Revelation?

The body of Christ has always been the church. The closest we get to a denomination is the word Christian.

No you have it backwoods from scripture, the body is the church,....

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

There's never been any denomination that was "the" church, it has always been the body of Christ. That's why Paul addressed his letters to various churches and never address any denomination, and also why Jesus address various churches in Revelation and never named a denomination.

Just because a church claims to be old doesn't mean it is original.
