  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is Hell Annihilationism or Eternal Torment

Hell is indeed eternal and this makes sense. Sinning against an infinitely thrice Holy God does indeed have infinite, eternal consequences.

Most self-identified Christians think doing 'good things' is enough to get to Heaven

Then they do not understand the Gospel, the price paid or the seriousness of our sin.

Charlie Kirk's murder sparks 'wave' of spiritual action among Americans: report

We must be careful of this, as there are always, in tragic situations, a wave of emotion based false conversions. If genuine, God caused the revival.

    Zions New Children

Yes. Everyone needs to believe in the Gospel of Christ, to be saved, biological Jews included. Under the new covenant, we are his chosen people.

    Church is boring

First off is the Gosprl there and is the Bible preached as infallible?

Are the Jews Israel, or is the church Israel? Or does it depend on the context of the passage?

The church is Israel and those in Christ (God the Son) are His people. Nothing to do with the-nation-that-calls-itself-Israel.
