Gerald Weston says; "The biblical holy days" 3 And what about Leviticus 23:11-21?

I don't see where 1 Corinthians 16:2 says anything about meeting on the first day of the week. In fact there are only two times in scripture where anyone is said to be meeting on the first day of the week - Acts 20:7, which you referenced and John 20:19.

    All foods are clean

Clare73, re: "The clean animals were for sacrifice." Not the "distinction" between seven and two, but as to why the animals were categorized as clean and unclean?

    All foods are clean

Before the ark set sail, Noah was told to take seven of each of every clean animal - both the male and his female - and two each of every unclean animal - both the male and his female (Genesis 7:2). Any thoughts on why a distinction was made?

    Maundy Thursday

This topic is asking what part of Thursday did the last supper take place - during the night time of the first half of the day, or during the daytime of the last half of the day?

    Missing Night?

It appears that you're not someone who thinks the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week. This topic is really directed to those who do.

    Missing Night?

And remember, the someone new needs to be someone who thinks the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week with the resurrection taking place on the 1st day of the week, and who thinks that the "heart of the earth" is referring to the tomb and who tries to explain the lack of a 3rd...

    Maundy Thursday

Does anyone who is familiar with Maundy Thursday, the day during Holy Week which commemorates the last supper of the Messiah with the apostles know which part of Thursday that this took place - during the night time of the first half of Thursday, or during the daytime of the second half of Thursday?

    Missing Night?

So, I wonder how those who do believe in a 6th day of the week crucifixion account for the lack of a 3rd night?

    Missing Night?

I may be wrong about this, but I think it is generally a Baptist position that the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week with the resurrection taking place on the 1st day of the week. Since the Messiah said that He would be in the "heart of the earth" for 3 nights, how do they...

Once I saw this guy on a bridge about to jump.

I said, "Don't do it!" He said, "Nobody loves me." I said, "God loves you. Do you believe in God?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Are you a Christian or a Jew?" He said, "A Christian." I said, "Me, too! Protestant or Catholic?" He said, "Protestant." I said, "Me, too! What franchise?" He said...
