  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

AI search says Adventists are the largest single denomination holding to Sola Scriptura

try this explicit request where I deal with the fact that "explicit rules" for defining a denominations teaching did not translate in AI-speak to "Using *only* the explicit, official, and published statements of Christian denominations themselves" Using *only* the explicit, official, and...

    I have a question and I’m confused

Using strict rules, identify the largest Trinitarian Christian denominations that claim (1) scripture is a sufficient test of doctrine and no extra-biblical document is necessary for testing all doctrine, (2) possess a single global administrative authority, (3) maintain one unified set of...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

Then AI gave this "Biblical Context" remark Biblical Context The Sabbath was established by God at creation (Genesis 2:2–3) and is explicitly commanded as the seventh day, Saturday, in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:8–11; Deuteronomy 5:12–15). Jesus Christ observed the Sabbath and taught that...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

I don't argue that at all. So then the question is how did we get to the state today where many people suppose that the first century church taught Christians that they need to have Sunday services, ignore one of the Ten Commandments (exactly 1), etc. And no command to not take God's name in...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

Mark 7 Jesus equates "Commandment of God", "Moses said" and "Word of God" in the same teaching. Mark 7 “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me. 7 ‘But in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

That is like saying "this paint is used for good pictures and also gets used to paint something bad". AI is a tool for research and presentation. And by posting the question This thread is the discussion with humans, I only put the AI detail in it to get people to come here and discuss the...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

Christians use the Bible to find Biblical answers. The problem being solved by also asking AI a question is the problem that all Christians tend to be biased toward their own denominational preference just as the disciples were biased toward Jewish teaching in John 16 such that Jesus had to say...

AI search says Adventists are the largest single denomination holding to Sola Scriptura

I see the results saying the Catholic Church is not selected because it rejects sola scriptura. Which makes sense. Using *only* the explicit, official, and published statements of Christian denominations themselves, identify the largest Trinitarian Christian denominations that claim (1)...

I was not even expecting LCMS, WELS and ELS. IN any case I don't mind multiple AI platforms returning consistent results for the same query.

Asking AI about Jer 4:23-26 and Rev 20:1-5 conditions on Earth

Rev 19 says that at Christ's appearing the opposing armies of Earth are all slain and then 'the rest were killed by the sword that comes from Christ's mouth" (ie "The Word" of God) 2 Thess 1:5-8 says that those who "do not know God and those who do not obey the gospel" are all slain when Christ...

Asking AI about Jer 4:23-26 and Rev 20:1-5 conditions on Earth

So Jer 4:23-26 Jer 4:23 I looked on the earth, and behold, it was formless and void; And to the heavens, and they had no light. 24 I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking, And all the hills moved to and fro. 25 I looked, and behold, there was no man, (no humans alive on...
