  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Immigrant whose skull was broken in eight places during ICE arrest says beating was unprovoked

You don’t find it strange that the guy didn’t remember having a daughter but can remember when and where he was beaten several times? And they only mentioned head trauma, no other injuries. No other injuries during these multiple beatings? Don’t get me wrong when I say that misinformation on...

Inside the Atonement: What Christ Actually Did on the Cross

I agree that not everyone will be saved but that doesn’t mean that God didn’t want them to repent and be saved.

Inside the Atonement: What Christ Actually Did on the Cross

You said God has a desire to save some sinners. Do you think that there are some that He doesn’t want to save?

Immigrant whose skull was broken in eight places during ICE arrest says beating was unprovoked

And misinformation on these kinds of political issues are a dime a dozen.

Immigrant whose skull was broken in eight places during ICE arrest says beating was unprovoked

I really don’t know what to do with this without any evidence to support either side other than the testimony of the victim who seems to remember being beaten on several occasions with no problems but couldn’t remember that he has a daughter?

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

But I did quote Genesis 17 where foreigners in Abraham’s care had to be circumcised in order to enter into the covenant and anyone who wasn’t circumcised could not enter into His covenant. That to me sounds like a pretty clear example in the Old Testament where someone can’t be saved if they’re...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

No you have one verse taken out of context of the discussion that was taking place, as well as complete silence on anyone ever observing the sabbath in the first 2300 years after creation, and two passages specifically saying when God gave the sabbath to the Israelites, which you didn’t address...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

I don’t see where anyone said that gentiles didn’t have to be circumcised to be saved during the old covenant in Acts 15. I see them making the decision based on the new covenant. According to Genesis 17 to enter into the covenant they had to be circumcised but this was to enter into Abraham’s...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

It depends on where they were in the temple. Uncircumcised gentiles weren’t permitted in the sanctuary not the outer courts.

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

But there are problems with all three of those passages. In Mark 2:27 Jesus wasn’t saying when the commandment was given, that statement was in response to the question “why are they doing what is unlawful on the sabbath?” Jesus’ reply was in answer to that question when He said “the sabbath was...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

I’m not so certain about this because proselytes were required to be circumcised in order to participate in the Passover according to Exodus 12 and depending on how verse 49 was intended to be interpreted it could mean that proselytes were required to keep the same whole Mosaic law that the...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

This doesn’t align with verse 17. The traditions of man were a shadow of things to come? Hebrews 10:1 says that the law was a shadow of things to come. “For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which...

The Sabbath, Worship and the End Time

Yeah He does say that He will reward those who abide in Him and do good works but you’re associating that reward with salvation, are you not? I mean let’s be completely honest here, you are specifically saying that salvation is a reward, right? Because if you are then you 100% are saying that we...

Asking AI to explain Sunday observance when NT has no such command

The part that is confusing is when Sabbathblessings reads Colossians 2:14 and says that it’s referring to the handwritten ordinances and that the 10 commandments weren’t hand written by Moses when I’m pointing out that Exodus 24:4 specifically says that Moses wrote all that the Lord had spoken...

The Sabbath, Worship and the End Time

Nope I never said anything like this ever. The Judaizers thought that Gentiles had to be circumcised to enter into God’s covenant just like the proselytes were required to according to the law of Moses. That’s why there was confusion because they thought they were following God’s commandment on...
