  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Israel and the Church

*sigh* My intent is not to debate the "how's" and "why's" of other schools of thought or the process in which we arrive at our own understanding of the scriptures. I created this thread simply to understand the dispensational view of Israel and the Church. As I mentioned in my original...

    Israel and the Church

I agree that it isn't responsible Theology when no other view was given genuine consideration. Case in point is why I am here trying to understand certain aspects of Dispensationalism and why I also read works by other theologians of the CT, PD, and NCT flavor. I also believe in testing...

    Israel and the Church

OK, thanks for clarifying! The article you posted above was very helpful as well! I am reading some of L.S. Chafer right now, trying to get some clarification on a few things. A lot in my library is dispensational by nature but I do not think I had connected the dots until I set out to...

So, in accordance with God's plan the Church is destined for heaven while Israel is destined for the earthly kingdom?
