No, your statement was false. Trump never issued any excuse for violence.
That’s how I took those pardons. You don’t get to tell me my interpretation of his actions is false. Pardons mean forgiveness. He forgave them for their crimes -crimes that were politically charged and done to show their support of him. His forgiveness of these crimes signals to them his support for them and what they did.

Trump pardoned people, almost all, who received outrageous sentences compared to Democrats who did comparable things (in many, many more examples).
He pardoned violent criminals, some of whom went on to commit even more crimes after receiving their pardon.

This is amazing. Instead of blaming the people fire bombing and vandalizing Teslas you blame the victim. And yes Musk is a victim he owns those dealerships
The man insists on acting bizarrely mendaciously nearly every day and puts his customers at risk.

If Trump cared he’d do something about it. But he hasn’t.

Anyone who voted for Donald Trump should tread carefully when impugning the intelligence of others.

Likewise, anyone who defends Mr Trump's decision to pardon law breakers on January 6th has absolutely no right to criticize people who vandalize property.
Incorrect. We do have the right to criticize those who vandalize property, and I will continue to exercise that right.

Anyone who planned to vote for Biden until he had to drop out, and then voted for Harris, should tread carefully when impugning the intelligence of others.
Likewise, anyone who defends Mr Trump's decision to pardon law breakers on January 6th has absolutely no right to criticize people who vandalize property.
Likewise anyone who doesn't condemn vandalism directed at Tesla and Elon Musk, has absolutely no right to critize the Jan 6th protests or pardons.

Because someone is trolling Tesla?
seriously-laugh.gif

My my, someone is sensitive. Come on, what do you expect after cozying up to the German far right, the salute and all the antisemitic and other conspiracy retweets? Musk is going to be hearing and seeing this trolling for a while and deservedly so.

"Reasons to leave NATO"^_^
I believe sentiments such as yours might be the majority of Europe. Hopefully US links with Europe can eventually be dissolved.

I'm not sure what you expect anyone here to do about it. Sure, vandalism is bad. Arson is bad. People should stop doing it. Police should investigate, and charge the perpetrators with the applicable crimes. But that does not mean that we can't point out that this is indicative of some deep discontent in the country.

This thread is not about violence, the OP made it clear it is about Tesla.
The OP is about Tesla and the level of violence from the left against a car - because the sheer hatred some have for the CEO of the company.

More Intimidation:

For a vehicle that was supposed to be the future of electric trucking, the Tesla Cybertruck is turning into something else entirely: a business liability. At least, that's what Yoni Menaker, owner of Blue Angel Roofing in Atlanta, claims after losing $70,000 in contracts—all because of his choice of wheels.

Last month, Torque News reported that Menaker, who uses his Cybertruck as a company vehicle, shared his frustration in a Tesla owners' group. He wrote, "I have a dilemma. I've started to lose customers because I drive a Cybertruck." He added that customers flat-out told him they were canceling deals because they didn't like the truck.

To make things worse, the company's online reviews started taking a hit, with one person writing, "If a roofing company has a Cybertruck, maybe reconsider using them as your roofer." That review even included a photo of Menaker's truck, complete with his business logo plastered on the side. The implication? Owning a Cybertruck doesn't just appear to be a controversial choice — it's now a potential business deal-breaker.

The toughest part of the situation? He loves the Cybertruck—despite the backlash—which makes the dilemma even harder. He shared, "I love this truck, and it's the best truck I've ever had."

Intimidation and extortion are not free speech issues, nor is it peaceful -

Remind me when Biden put the CEO of Anheuser-Busch in charge of gutting the federal government from within.
According to testimony from Elaine Karmarck, the director of Clinton's initiative, it eliminated 426,200 federal roles between January 1993 and September 2000.
No protests, no threats against Clinton, nothing set on fire

Lol where’s the intimidation? A boycott is by definition peaceful. You gave an example of people voting with their wallets.

Turns out people don’t like to associate with Nazi saluting internet twerps, even if they’re stupid wealthy.

How is that intimidation or extortion? People are exercising their right to free speech and free association based on Mr. Menaker's choice of vehicles. Is it irrational? A bit, sure, but irrationality isn't a crime.

It's amazing how much stuff that's sparked so much anger and fear was already done by Clinton and Biden.

Biden neglected put anyone in charge of government efficiency.
Biden was in charge of inefficiency
The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), signed into law in 2022, was estimated to cost the federal government between $369 billion and $383 billion over 10 years for energy-related subsidies, with some estimates suggesting costs could exceed $1 trillion.

Not sure how that’s relevant unless this Elaine lady is also a well known internet pest/billionaire.

Just like the 45 presidents who came before him.
Reagan established a private-sector commission to uncover wasteful spending and improve government efficiency.

That was found in a quick search. Bet I can find a democrat example too if I dig more. None of these things that are a "traitorous dictator threat to democracy" being done by Trump, have not been done by other presidents. It would be nice if certain people snapped out the spell they've been put under.
