I see why Paul’s writings came with such a steep warning.

That's true. Moses law did have the death penalty. It's not that the ten commandments are bad it's just that Jesus taught us to do good on Sabbath and not to rest. Now if I follow Jesus and stop doing my works then I obey Sabbath every day. In my opinion this doesn't mean I cant work it just means I dont work to feed my lust. But I do that every day. It's just my fallible opinion on Sabbath. I surely dont know everything. Then you disagree with Paul in 2 Corinthians 3 that the law written on stones tablets brought death?
“You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such confidence we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was, how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory? For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory.”
2 Corinthians 3:2-9 NASB1995
What rules do I need to follow for Sabbath keeping? The apostles don't teach usI see why Paul’s writings came with such a steep warning.
Acts 13:42 Acts 13:44 Acts 15:21 Acts 16:13 Acts 18:4 etc. What rules do I need to follow for Sabbath keeping? The apostles don't teach us
Please just list them. You're the one promoting it. Show meActs 13:42 Acts 13:44 Acts 15:21 Acts 16:13 Acts 18:4 etc.
If you hover over the scripture it shows it.Please just list them. You're the one promoting it. Show me
Those are scriptures that mention Sabbath but I wanted you to tell me how to observe Sabbath. What am I allowed to do and not do on Sabbath? If you hover over the scripture it shows it.
It’s a day to keep holy and honor God Exo 20:8-11 Isa 58:13. Jesus and the apostles observed the Sabbath going to church, reading God’s Word, sharing God’s word, prayer so thats a good start. Those are scriptures that mention Sabbath but I wanted you to tell me how to observe Sabbath. I keep every day holy. The apostles were jews and that's why they observed Sabbath at first but they don't teach itIt’s a day to keep holy and honor God Exo 20:8-11 Isa 58:13. You might want to take a closer look at the scriptures I posted and what Jesus said Isa 56:6 Mark 2:27. If every day was holy than there would have been no need for God to sanctify which means set aside for holy use the seventh day, yet He did Gen 2:1-3 Exo 20:11. If we are doing any secular work then we are not keeping it holy. I find it hard to believe that one never does work, garden, grocery shopping etc ever. God gives us 6 days to get these things done Exo 20:9 and only asks for one ful day dedicated to Him, the seventh day which God claimed in His own Words as My holy day Isa 58:13 not one that was assigned to Him by man He deemed for works and labor. fwiw, research later (not able to discuss on this forum properly).
I agree that these*Acts 13:42 Acts 13:44 Acts 15:21 Acts 16:13 Acts 18:4 etc.
Yet God said Exo 20:8-11 Isa 58:13 Eze 20:13 Eze 22:26fwiw, research later (not able to discuss on this forum properly).
For the righteous Jews in Christ Jesus, every day, every activity - nothing is "secular".
All is set apart to Yahweh, everything, all the time, every day.
I’m not at a place right now to print out every verse. If you put your mouse on the verse you can see it. Hopefully we all have bibles here as well.If you don't print out the text, I and most others will never see them.
How do I set it apart from others days if I'm holy every day?You might want to take a closer look at the scriptures I posted and what Jesus said Isa 56:6 Mark 2:27. Anyway, we don’t have to agree, I am okay with that.
God bless.
That might or might not be possible or feasible. If you can't print out a verse, I think it's better not to reference it until you can. Most posters or many don't agree - they go on and on posting only references, that most others never even see.I’m not at a place right now to print out every verse. Thanks for your opinion, but I prefer to post it the way I have been, if you don’t want to hover over to read, I understand, many others will. Most people never even post references at all in their posts, they think their opinion is equal to God’s Word, so if this is a requirement you might consider it yourself. That might or might not be possible or feasible. God said be holy because he is holy. He said to seek peace with all men and holiness. He said to perfect holiness. We do not deem ourselves holy, only God can. God said the Sabbath is a sign of His sanctification Eze 20:12 because we can’t santify ourselves Isa 66:17
