Anime Is A Tool Of Satan!

How is anime a tool of satan? That doesn't even make sense. Anything can be seen as 'bad' if you use it wrong. If your son is attacking people because he's seen it on TV then maybe he's too young for Naruto. Anime is merely Japanese cartoons. That's it. It's not bad programming. It's simply not American. Anime encompasses anything from children's programming such as Hello Kitty to adult programming. The answer isn't to just disallow all anime but how about teaching him that what he sees on the television isn't how to behave? Maybe find a more kid-friendly anime or program instead.

When I was a teen I got into Charmed (isn't anime but fits the experience fits the topic) and my mom hated it because it was fantasy. The show is about 3 witches who are sisters and they come into their powers which they use to protect their city with. My mother thought it was of the devil. She allowed me to watch because I was a teen but she made cracks like "oh, you're watching THAT". I still don't get it. The show didn't make me want to be a witch nor did it make me disown my faith. It didn't make me want to go out and do witchcraft either. If your kid is mimicking the TV then he doesn't know fantasy from reality or he just doesn't understand how they make TV. Show him a behind the scenes of a movie or something complete with the green screen. You could probably find a how-to animation on youtube to show that these things are drawn and not real. I can see this if he's five. My 4 year old nephew mimics what he sees on the TV. Like on Blaze one character whines so now he cannot watch that one TV show due to the whining he's learned from it. We have to tell him it's broken (that's what his parents said to say if he and his brother ask for it).

Depend on how the anime is made. some target a child audience while others are to fil sinfull desires. if you watch stuff like pokemon, not evil. soul eater, some suggestive themes but nothing bad (they kill demons and witches). There are so many different types of anime that aren't violent. YOU can't blame anime for your son being a violent kid, I'm sorry to say this but you only have yourself to blame for that. The Bible itself is far more violent, bloody, and sex filled than most animes ever are, I mean King David paraded around with a giant's lifeless head on a stake! The moral of this comparison is that you should not just look at the content, you should also look at the moral of the story.
Also, seriously? Exorcism? You're going to damage that boy's psyche! GIVE THE BOY SOME TOUGH DISCIPLINE! And if it's "Naruto" you're talking about, then you're even more wrong, because that anime has several encouraging messages about friendship, team work, redemption (Gaara for example), and helping others no matter what!
Get educated before you start spewing insanity, please. It's people like you that push people further away from Christ, and in the way you are treating your son's "problem" you will likely push him away from both you and Jesus.

as Gods beloved children i do not think it is necessary for us to find evil in all that comes into our paths. i have had extremely damaging and hurtful and misguiding experiences in church. would it be correct of me to say that churches are therefore evil? your son does not need exorcism, but the firm and loving instruction of the godly mother that you are. do not fear anime. anime is a cartoon form. tom and jerry were the staple tv diet of many people my age. we did not grow into godless or possessed monsters as a result of seeing tom and jerry beat one another senseless. in this world we will be exposed to many things that seek to lead us away from the Lord, and it is wise to be cautious in all things. but it is unhelpful to start screaming 'satan' at a generally harmless cartoon show.
