Week 13 The protest continues

Today is Easter, or as I like to think of it, Resurrection Day. It is the anniversary of the most important day in history, as Christians see it. I personally never liked the Easter bunny stuff and much of the superficial worldly stuff as it is celebrated by most of the US as it distracts from the real importance of His resurrection and our salvation.

So what does the POTUS write? Well, he starts off okay on Truth Social, though it was probably written for him:

"Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! Whether you are heading out to Church or, watching Service from home, may this day be full of Peace and Joy for all who celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!!”

Then about 6 minutes later, his true self comes out:

His unchristian nastiness, and hatefulness comes out in a name-calling, delusional screed.

And how ridiculous for him to call Biden a moron. He needs to look in the mirror for that.

****************

There were lots of protests this weekend. I'd like to post some of the signs but some would violate the site rules.

These videos are about the protests:

50501 - 50 protests in 50 states 1 movement. As we begin the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the American revolution, it looks like we need to fight against a king again.

Here is the celebration in Lexington and Concord, MA is in this video:

Trump is declining in the polls, especially about the economy

According to a CNBC poll of 1,000 Americans, 43 percent approve of Trump's handling of the economy and 55 percent disapprove, the first time a CNBC survey has shown the president with a net negative on the economy.
The poll was conducted between April 9 and April 13 and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percent.
It also found that 49 percent believe the economy will get worse over the next year, the most pessimistic overall result since 2023.
It follows an April CBS News poll conducted with YouGov, which found that more people disapprove of Trump's handling of the economy than those who approve, with 44 percent favorable and 56 percent disapproving of his policies.
This poll revealed that a third (33 percent) said they expect the economy to be in recession next year. However, only 4 percent fewer (29 percent) said they think it will be booming or growing.
And 53 percent said the economy is getting worse, while 28 percent said it is getting better and 19 percent said it is staying about the same.

Trading has started in foreign markets as their day begins and futures are already down 50 points. That is not good.
