Matthew 20:30-31,34^
30 And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”
31 Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”
33 They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.” 34 So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
May we as followers of Messiah Jesus so submit ourselves to His word, presence, and leading that we, too, have eyes trained to see with ever clearer discernment the reality of the liberty that the Son of God has given His children.
Matthew 6:22 (NKJV): “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light."
Matthew 9:16 (NKJV): "But blessed are your eyes for they see..." and
Proverbs 4:20-22 (NKJV)
20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
