  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Changes in the sun, shift of the axis of the earth

I had a dream a couple of nights ago. I was on a bus traveling through Iowa—SD. The sun looked several times larger than usual and turned a more red color. Suddenly, the ground beneath us began to move, and we slid for some distance. Or rather it slid beneath us. The sun then became smaller and looked more like a giant ball of boiling red oil. The sun was then rising and setting in different places on the horizon. It was setting further north on the western horizon than it now does.
I believe this represented, first, a solar eruption that was so powerful that it affected the core and mantle of the earth and caused a change in the axis of the earth. This means the mantle liquefied due to the sun's activity, and the crust of the earth actually slips across it. This is not the same as a polar shift, where only the magnetic poles shift.
