Is Dr Livingood A Christian?

Disclaimer: It is not our role to determine whether or not somebody is a Christian. We just use our discernment based on the evidence we have found on the internet to come to a likely or best-guess answer. Our answers do not actually determine who is or is not a Christian and it is ultimately between the person and God. Not us.

Dr Blake Livingood is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Natural Medicine who lives in North Carolina. He is the CEO and founder of Livingood Daily. He started his journey as a Doctor of Natural Medicine when he nearly lost his father to a life-threatening health condition.  Thus, he set out to find a better and healthy way to help his father recover. By that time, his father was on 15 strong medications to take care of his father’s heart and autoimmune medical conditions.

The Doctor of Natural Medicine became a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2009 and got married in the same year to his wife, Jessica. Together they opened their medical centre named Triangular Health Center. According to D.C Alumnus, Dr. Livingood and his wife created a healthy lifestyle routine for his father, the routine includes “adjustments, dietary changes, exercises, positive thinking, meditation and stress-reducing activities”.

The herbalist and the father of 3 kids have treated more than 1000 patients and worked with over 75 churches as their Doctor. He was named as the “Best Primary Care Doctor and Chiropractor in Morrisville, NC” in 2016, 2017, and 2018. The Doctor has also published books on health and healthy living including Livingood Daily and Make Food Simple which were published in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

Dr Livingood is a popular doctor who is known for his teachings on healthy living. His patients and fans are curious about what his religious convictions are. This article will answer the question: Is Dr Livingood a Christian?

Is Dr Livingood Religious?

Is Dr Livingood Religious?

Dr Livingood is quite religious because he and his family attend Church and volunteer for the church regularly. Stefan Junge made it public that he is a devoted and committed person who is very committed to his church.

Stefan Junge said, “Dr Blake Livingood is devoted to his wife, Jessica, and their three children. Nurse Livingood, as she is known online, frequently works alongside her husband to promote healthy eating and lifestyle choices. Despite his success in medicine and business, Livingood remains committed to his family and church.”

Dr Livingood is a Doctor of Natural Medicine who does not believe in the use of pharmaceutical products. He believes in holistic and natural medicine.

Learn.org says that a  “Doctor of natural medicine knows modern medicine and alternative medicine. These doctors may use acupuncture, nutrition and counselling to treat illnesses and diseases. Commonly, they utilize natural and holistic remedies to treat issues like respiratory conditions, allergies, consistent pain and fatigue. Approaches are based on the belief that the human body can inherently heal itself. In documenting patient history, psychological and physiological issues may be kept in mind.”

He also teaches people to take care of themselves because they can’t achieve their purpose if they are not healthy. He said to his students in one of his lectures, “Take care of yourself, because if you lose your health, you can’t live out your purpose; the degree does you no good. You can’t be there for your family; you can’t make any money. It’s the fastest way to lose all of your money. You have to be healthy, and I think once you better understand how to take care of yourself, then you are going to be able to provide that for others. No one is going to take better care of yourself than you.”

He lives more of a vegetarian life and believes that it is the best diet for humankind. Better Health Channel says that “A vegetarian diet does not include any meat or seafood. However, there are many variations to this – some people following a vegetarian diet may eat eggs and dairy foods, while others may avoid one or both. A vegan diet Is another form of vegetarianism where only plant foods are eaten and all foods from animal sources are avoided (meat, seafood, dairy, eggs and sometimes honey and gelatine). Vegetarian diets can have many health benefits. They can offer all the essential vitamins and minerals necessary for a long and healthy life provided they are well-planned. Breastfeeding mothers and children who have a vegetarian diet need to take particular care to make sure they get all the essential nutrients they need for healthy growth and development.

Livingood goes to church every Sunday with his family. This was confirmed by Langhoff Creative when they published in 2015 that, “Every Sunday morning starts with smiles just like these. It’s no secret that Sullivan loves his parents and that they love him. He laughed and cooed as his daddy played with him and he smiled with squinty eyes as his mommy chatted with him, kissed him and affirmed his identity & who he’d grown up becoming. They made a healthy, organic breakfast together, hung out at home, got ready for the day and even went for a walk together before heading to church

They play an integral role there and have kept their attendance & involvement there on Sundays and throughout the week a top priority in their lives. They are thrilled to raise Sullivan as a part of that church community and to be a part of it, themselves. Elevation RDU is our church home, too, and I know it wouldn’t be the same without the Livingoods!”

The couple attends the ‘Elevation Church’ held at Daniels Middle School in Raleigh. The couple are also the pioneer founders of the church.

Does Dr Livingood Believe in God?

Dr Livingood believes in God because, in an interview with Stefan in 2022, he was asked “What is your favourite quote?”

The Doctor of Natural Medicine replied,

“From the Bible Scripture, 1 John 4:4 Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world”.

The whole chapter talks about the belief in God and encourages Christians not to believe in other spirits apart from God. 1st John 4:1-4 says,

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ comes in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ comes in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world”.
