I think the Fallout games are fine for a Christian so long as you're an adult. There are definitely adult themed situations throughout that are not appropriate for children. I'd say the real danger here is that like anything that we enjoy it should be done in moderation so as not to consume our lives. Obviously if it causes you to pray less, or interact with your family, and friends less then it's not so good for a person. Gameplay wise it can be a little graphic, but that is more of a personal choice as to what you find acceptable. I've played through FO3, NV, and FO4. I enjoyed interacting with the world trying my best to do good for the various people, and factions. While I realize you're playing 4 I'd like to give FO3, and NV an honorable mention here because they had a karma system which grew positive, or negative depending on how you treated people, and interacted with the world around you. So, no. I don't think there's specifically anything wrong with playing them as a Christian, personally. A person's mileage may vary depending on how you were brought up, and what you find to be acceptable viewing I guess, but there's nothing anti-Christian about any of those games. If anything it highlights just how fallen our world really is in their hypothetical scenario, and further highlights how we are able to positively effect those around us. As much as anything else a person can make into an idol. Alcohol, smoking, food, etc. That's very subjective, and not true in all cases.
