All I can say is that me and my wife played the game for 3 years straight. Before that, we even beta tested it. Without a doubt the game can suck you in and honestly can be a big blast to play. Course, this was also during a time of being "somewhat" backslidden in my relationship with God. I wasn't spending as much time as I should with Him and it affected our relationship a lot. Not that you would've been able to tell me that at the time. We would literally spends hours on the game every night. I was into item finding and my wife was into fighting against other players. Even when we came to a point that I had found multiples of every single item in the game and she had tweaked all her characters to the max and was very hard to beat, we couldn't let go of the game. I had 18 playing characters and 16 mules which are, for those that don't know, characters that carry items for you, and all of them were full. Bottom line, we didn't find the game to be necessarily bad, what we did find is that it took all our time (hours upon hours) and didn't have a lot to show for it. It hurt my relationship with God tremendously because it would consistently cut into my quiet time, something that is so important to have on a regular basis. I can definitely say that there are so many better things and games that a person can do or play. We have since stopped playing the game and I don't really see us playing it anymore. This was a while back, I would say a little before the "infamous" 1.10 patch finally came out. Think about it this way: God says: "All things in moderation". Satan says: "whatever keeps you distracted and non-focused to God". After all, according to Satan, you are your own God. Anything that can keep you from spending time with God... isn't that the bottom line of what Satan wants all of us to do and think? I pray that none of you get as addicted to this game or anything else this world throws our way in the guise of entertainment, that will even slightly distract you from your relationship with God.
