This thread isn't about the film. It's about the lawsuit by DJT against the filmmakers. That's just a statement of fact. No knees need be jerked. Or it could be something more "artsy" that a lot of us just don't get or care for. Until we see the film we can't comment on any underlying themes...

I rather like The Good Place depiction of Heaven where you have access to all levels of learning and knowledge, pleasure, comfort and then when you're "done" you can choose to just stop being with no judgement or sadness. That was a great show.

This is prudent advice, not just for Christians, but for everyone. The issue, IMO, is that many Christians believe they have this discernment in levels surpassing the "heathens" by virtue of their religious beliefs alone, which, of course, is very far from reality.

Edward Gibbon called this attitude\view "otherworldliness" and he attributed the fall of the Roman Empire, in part, to it.
