TX GOP Adds Some Fun New Planks to Its Party Platform

Forget red or blue for a second... do you actually think this is a good idea in principle?

Italian teenager nicknamed ‘God’s influencer’ set to become Catholic Church’s first millennial saint

I have questions... Why would a computer geek be responsible for healing miracles? Shouldn't it be that someone brought their laptop with the BSD to his tomb and it magically recovered or someone who forgot their password being able to access their account after praying to him or something.

Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock has passed away at 53

From what I've seen it was sort of debunked as a lot of his symptoms he experienced while filming that might have been due to his alcoholism.

Trump Cheered as He Arrives at F1 in Miami Amid New York Trial

Well sure! I mean, after all, they're not voting for a pastor! And who hasn't "sinned" amiright!? Just a lil' bit o' sin.

Donald Trump biopic “The Apprentice” debuts at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday, draws decent reviews and Trump campaign lawsuit

Then that's what you can say. Or you can speculate on what arguments team trump will make, or any other opinions you might have about the lawsuit. Or speculate on the contents of the actual film. Whatever you want, man! Just understand that the scope of the OP is the lawsuit, not the contents of...

"Overeager staffer" posts video to Trump's personal Truth Social account predicting “the creation of a unified Reich” if he wins in 2024

This is my take as well. It's just in a headline in the background specifically talking about WWII and Hitler's aims and what not. To say that whoever made the video was aiming to have that be a message I think is a really big leap. Quite frankly I'm surprised major outlets are running this...

Donald Trump biopic “The Apprentice” debuts at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday, draws decent reviews and Trump campaign lawsuit

This thread isn't about the film. It's about the lawsuit by DJT against the filmmakers. That's just a statement of fact. No knees need be jerked. Or it could be something more "artsy" that a lot of us just don't get or care for. Until we see the film we can't comment on any underlying themes...

The Problem with AI is people

I rather like The Good Place depiction of Heaven where you have access to all levels of learning and knowledge, pleasure, comfort and then when you're "done" you can choose to just stop being with no judgement or sadness. That was a great show.

The Problem with AI is people

Just an observation here, but when Christians say this "us vs. them" stuff like this we just stare at you (metaphorically in this case), shake our heads and blink. Christians "belong" to this world just like every other living thing on the planet. The really frustrating part from the atheists'...

    And now Trump glitches out

I didn't see the video as it's really not something I care that much about, but I saw someone suggest that it was choreographed for dramatic effect and was just really badly done. There was supposed to be some music playing or something and this was some kind of weird feigned reverence. I have...

The Problem with AI is people

This is prudent advice, not just for Christians, but for everyone. The issue, IMO, is that many Christians believe they have this discernment in levels surpassing the "heathens" by virtue of their religious beliefs alone, which, of course, is very far from reality.

At current rates of consumption, the U.S. has at least two centuries of oil, report says

Edward Gibbon called this attitude\view "otherworldliness" and he attributed the fall of the Roman Empire, in part, to it.
