Most western countries have fairly gender equal society thus feminism is not needed that much there. Feminism is about empowerment of women, whining about bigotry is not what I'd call empowerment, but a 14 years old rebellion against their parents.

It's important to understand why there is a need of feminism in a fairly gender equal society. A feminist should empower itself, if they complain too much they are some whiny teenagers, period(literally and fictionally).
