The Palestinians are opposed to the 2-state solution, so what are you suggesting?
While most Palestinians still oppose a two-state solution, support for it has been increasing in recent months, especially in Gaza, where the majority now approves of the idea.

The UN passed a resolution just today that recognizes the State of Palestine as being qualified for membership in the United Nations. While it's mostly symbolic, this move will likely increase support from Palestinians for a two-state solution. It will be interesting to see how the next polls go. Regardless of how much support a two-state solution has from either the Palestinians or the Israelis, it's not going to happen until Israel’s far-right government is voted out and Hamas no longer has a leadership role in Gaza. They both have to go.

The only official Arab statement I've heard in support of the 2-state solution was in late October from the Saudi foreign minister. But I suspect the Saudis are pushing the 2-state solution only to get Israel off their plate while they fight a proxy war with Iran. By the same token, Iran and their Palestinian proxies (notably Hamas) will oppose it.

Belk, are you saying that it's okay for professors to preach violence? That's free speech you approve of?
No. I'm saying it is free speech. Free speech that no one approves of is the one that needs to be protected.

Hamas is a Satanic Terrorist arm of the religious fanaticism that is spawned by Islamic Quran worshiping fanatics who do not speak for the Majority of the Palestinians (Arabs).
Yet Hamas continues to score high in the polls among those living in the Palestinian territories.

Q.)= Why is it and How is it, that all those who are "Palestinian Protesters"....never do they say...>"Hamas, just SURRENDER"

"Hamas, Just GIVE UP"......>"Turn yourself in"... ., as then the WAR STOPS, the KILLING STOPS, in seconds.
I answered this in the post you quoted.

It will achieve nothing in the long term to ask Hamas to surrender, so long as the underlying conditions that created it persist. The road towards peace starts with Israel. Until Israel ends its occupation of the Palestinian territories and allows Palestinians the right to self-determination through the creation of a Palestinian state, there will be no peace.

I'm trying to get it right.

Are you saying that in the name of free speech the college must accept a professor teaching in his class that Jews (or anyone) should be attacked violently?

No. I believe that if they advocate violence against a specific ethnic group that crosses the line and the university would be within their rights to remove them. As long as it violates a known policy. However, if they are advocating for resistance in the face of violence then that is free speech. Does that clarify my position?

Occidental College & protesters sign pact: Camp ends, and college will vote on divesting from Israel

More feckless youth, getting their jollies and virtue-signalling by having their demands met.
UCR demonstrates why its students didn't get into a better UC.

That agreement item reads: “Commitment to bimonthly meetings with the AVC of Auxiliary Services and an ongoing review of Sabra Hummus consistent with existing produce review processes until we can find a solution.”

SJP negotiator Samia Alkam called the wording of the Sabra Hummus section “very vague” but hopes it will lead to the hummus being banned from the campus. The chancellor’s office says: “Sabra’s availability on campus will be reviewed in the same manner as other vendors.”

Arabs (Palestinians).....= They have to agree, as you can't argue against radical satanic murderers, and live to tell about it.
In fact in Iran, if you are a woman, and you wear your head/mask, and necessary clothing, wrong, they'll kill you for it.
So... unfortunately, some of them who are in Rafah are going to be used as Human Shields and die, anyway.

And people like you, @JosephZ .... who wont just say..>"Hamas, give up, surrender, and the killing/war will stop"....are in for a long hard and lesson regarding why taking the side against God, is never the smart play or the Christian point of view.

The reason Palestinians continue to support Hamas at this time is because Hamas has brought global attention to their plight. Never has there been so much attention put on the Isreali-Arab conflict. Others support Hamas because they see them as avengers, and others because they think Hamas can bring about change and put an end to Israel's decades of occupation and oppression.

And people like you, @JosephZ .... who wont just say..>"Hamas, give up, surrender, and the killing/war will stop"....are in for a long hard and lesson regarding why taking the side against God, is never the smart play or the Christian point of view.
I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Hamas isn't going to care what I or anyone else on this forum says. Hamas isn't going to surrender just because I make a post here telling them to. If every pro-Palestinian in the west demanded that Hamas surrender, it's not going to do any good. Hamas is a terrorist group. They are extremists; what we see as being logical, they see as irrational. So it's pointless for you to go on and on about me and others who care about the lives of Palestinians for not telling Hamas to give up or surrender.

Its pointless to a Anti-Semite... to tell them that '""""" if Hamas will just stop using Palestinians as Human Shields.... If Hamas will stop Shooting Rockets into Israel for the last 24 yrs... If Hamas will come out of the Tunnels, and free the Hostages, and surrender, then all of this will stop.."""""

So, to tell a Jew Hating activist this REALITY, is about as effective as trying to get a PIG TO FLY.

The destruction of Hamas, (a Satanic Terrorist Group) will continue until they are all dead and in Hell or until they decide to surrender.
Till then innocent Jews and Innocent Arabs are going to DIE.

And, once Hamas is destroyed then Palestinians will be dancing in the Streets as they are FREED from this Satanic Cult that pretends to be "of God".

The thing is the campus heroes in the US are probably mostly Hamas supporters not peace advocates. Even if the Israeli response to the October Hamas massacres had avoided most death & destruction, the pro Hamas protesters would probably be anti Israel.

I said the same thing back in October. At least we agree on something.

What? There certainly has been.
While there has always been awareness of the Israeli-Arab conflict and the plight of the Palestinians, it has never been at the level it is today. There have been times in the past where protests have taken place or world leaders have condemned Israel for using a disproportionate amount of force to quash an uprising or respond to a terrorist attack, but the level we are seeing now has been unprecedented. Demonstrations of solidarity with Palestinians have broken out across the world and have continued for months. Several countries have withdrawn diplomats and cut ties with Israel, and the UN General Assembly passed a resolution stating that Palestine qualifies for full-member status in an act of solidarity with Palestinians and a rebuke to Israel and the United States. Unlike the past, the Israeli-Arab conflict and the demonstrations taking place around the world are in the news every day and have been for months and unlike before, it appears there's going to be a significant change from the status que once this current conflict is resolved.

They support Hamas because try are Jew haters and want all the Jews dead. So does Hamas.

And yet you still won't say it. You will continue to criticize Israel and tell them to stop, knowing full well Israel won't listen to you either. Obviously you aren't really believing what you are saying. We all know what will end this conflict. Yet you won't call for it. Hamas and the Palestinians started this all your rhetoric aside.
