LOL - the managed a combined 3-4 billion dollar a year enterprise that spanned the US and Europe.

Wikipedia has the estimate at $450 million, but whatever.

Operational Control on a global scale that I would venture to guess not one person here is qualified to accurately comment on.

Yourself included, yet you continue to push certain stats as if they mean something, even after it's pointed out to you that they don't.

That is established fact - Tell me you honestly think he made such minimal decisions as to how the bookkeeper is going to enter an invoice from his attorney.

Given that this was no routine legal matter, I find it entirely plausible that he was heavily involved in it. That said, I'm not especially interested in this case beyond the bits I find amusing.

Trump's new financial disclosure shows his number of business holdings has doubled since leaving White House

The 101-page disclosure report, filed with the Federal Election Commission as part of Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, details his personal wealth and income since January of 2022 and offers a first look at the state of his vast business interests since he returned to private life.
The report, which was filed weeks late even after Trump was given two 45-day extensions, shows that Trump has acquired hundreds of new assets -- but it's unclear exactly how the former president's businesses have been faring because much of financial information is only reported in broad ranges, per FEC requirements.
So please - please let's at the very least be intellectually honest.
Really, you're going to lecture me on being intellectually honest? I'm pretty sure I've pointed out to you in the past that those "350 companies" aren't real, operating companies, and yet you still trotted out that line about him having operational control over them.

That doesn't mean you are accurate -

The case is about how the transaction was entered into their books.
The CFO said it was done without Trumps input
The attorney said it was done without Trumps input
Stormy Daniels didn't want the deal originally - because it didn't have Trumps signature

It's an accounting function - the payment was made on an invoice from his attorney and entered as a legal expense.

I seem to recall digging into the full list and the associated records the first time it came up and describing what many of the LLC’s appeared to be for. Most had names related to the particular deal that, along with news article, made it fairly obvious what they were. For example, he’d have something like 123Broadway LLC, and a google search would turn up the fact that 123 Broadway was owned by a non-Trump developer, along with a news article that they had once approached him about licensing his name for the building.

He owns several businesses, including a number of golf courses and other buildings. But it’s nowhere near “350.”

Thank you for your opinion:

President Donald Trump has resigned from his namesake company and more than 400 affiliated entities, a Trump Organization spokesperson told NBC News.

Scoop: Trump to dine with NFT buyers on day off from court

"I'd like to be campaigning," Trump told reporters Tuesday outside the courtroom where adult film actress Stormy Daniels testified in the case involving hush money she received after an alleged encounter with Trump.

[But it seems there's one thing he prioritizes over campaigning.]
  • Hours later, Trump flew home to Palm Beach, Fla., where this evening he's expected to join supporters who bought at least 47 Trump NFTs (at $99 each), according to copy of the dinner invitation reviewed by Axios.
[The new series of] Trump "Mugshot" NFTs are a reference to his mugshot from his arrest last year in Fulton County, Ga., on charges he conspired to overturn that state's 2020 election results. That case hasn't gone to trial.

Buyers who spent nearly $10,000 to get 100 NFTs also were invited to a "VIP" cocktail reception before the dinner. They're supposed to receive physical cards with pieces of the suit and the tie that Trump was wearing when he was arrested.
  • The company selling Trump NFTs —non-fungible tokens — isn't connected to his campaign.

The judge in Donald J. Trump’s hush-money trial said Tuesday that the former president can attend the high school graduation of his youngest son, Barron, in Florida next month.
And shocker, Trump's not attending the graduation that day apparently, but a fund raiser.

The bookkeeping entry that Trump is being charged for has nothing to do with whether Trump had sex with the woman or not.
So Trump hid the payments for no reason.

Trump. The famously loose spender and totally not a litigious person, just made payments to multiple women for no reason whatsoever.
Got it.

Ironically, today the offered testimony of him being a tightwad (and a micro-manger).

So Trump has sex with a prostitute? What's the big deal? Sorry I haven't been following this story but what exactly are the charges against Trump?

She wasn't a prostitute and no money was exchanged until he decided to stop the story from coming out 10 yrs later.

Daniels was a terrible witness for the prosecution, her testimony was not necessary to prove the charges, her credibility was destroyed during cross examination and the prosecution had to know this would happen. This seems more like an attempt to damage Trump than to get a conviction.

I agree she wasn't necessary to prove the case, the rest is up for debate. The defense opened themselves up for it by saying she was lying about the encounter taking place.

They polled the jury today to see how many saw Daniel’s post about testifying. I don’t know what the results were

What do you mean by "they polled the jury"?
A sitting jury can't discuss the case with anyone, even amoungst themselves, until they go into deliberation.

They asked if they had seen Stormy Daniels’ tweet. It was something along the lines of “Real men testify.”

When there is a concern that something the jury should not have heard reached the jury, they are asked by the judge if they are aware of it.
