Ha ha ha - so many futurists just disappear when their timetable fails!

I consider myself a Partial Futurist, but that guy/lady was embarrassing! Won't be able to show his/her face for awhile--may have to change names/accounts?

You neither know me, nor have ever known me. However, in the 4th quarter of 2022 after the summer of disasters in America you will. I told you what I did specifically to draw out your disbelief for the record. Thanks! You would not have believed any of the prophets of old just as you do not believe any of the prophets speaking today.
Hey Keras - remember this guy?
How certain he was?

I will tell you two certainties:
1/ The worlds peoples cannot continue on their present course for much longer.
2/ What the Bible Prophets have informed us about Gods plans for our future, will come to pass.
The Lord WILL come in fire.......to test all mankind.......many will be slain by Him and the ungodly will meet their end. Isaiah 66:15-17

Some in the New Testament thought the Lord was just about to return - and got lazy. They were rebuked and told to get back to work to provide for the poor etc.

That was 2000 years ago.

Now, on Isaiah 66 - one theologian I respect thinks it could be referring to the Day of the Lord in the sense of a divine judgement on a particular regime. In this case - Jerusalem in AD 70. IF that's true - as is often the case in the Old Testament - the gospel events are 'flattened' in time to judgement on all people (which fell on Jesus) and then almost immediately after (from an eternal perspective) AD 70 and the destruction of Jerusalem. The Day of the Lord against the apostate.

In which case the fire is held by human hands - and is the Romans burning down the temple, etc.

But others also think it could be an end times view of the Last Day - with the gospel going out into all the world - people coming to a spiritual Mt Zion / Jerusalem through faith. In that case the fire of the Lord is his APPEARANCE as we see in Deut. 33:26; Ps. 18:10; Jer. 4:13. As a commentary says: "They are common accompaniments of God’s appearance (10:17, 18; 29:6; Ezek. 32:6–8 note). Isaiah prayed for God to come in this way to bring judgment (64:1–3)."

In which case the fire is God himself.

What it isn't? A CME. Sorry.
Also - the earth isn't 7000 years old and your whole timetable is invalid.
There will be no AOD in 2026. Just saying.
