I'm so sorry!! I meant John 14:6, not verse 16. But, I do like that verse and where I get the signs can customize them. I really love "come to me.." as so many people are burdened, so lots of people, whether walking or driving by, get to see it and gives them something to think about. And, they can't miss that it's Jesus who says it.
I don't know why you would pick a message about sex as apposed to God's love. Sex is just one of many sins if you had to pick a particular sin. That would be my choice. My friend's signs do draw a lot of feedback and have gotten into lots of great conversations.
Jesus said. "The world ... hates me because I testify that its works are evil." So, Jesus pointed out people's sins.

I don't use the signs, but my friend does. I'm not concerned if the kids see the signs as it very well may make them think before they actually do something they'll regret.
We use all different types of signs. I like scripture, and my friend likes to use things that scripture points out. He didn't just have signs about sex there, he had many others. As for God's love, people need to understand they've sinned against a Holy God and need to repent and put their trust in Jesus.

As I mentioned above, non-believers need to learn that someday we'll stand before the judgment seat of God and that Jesus is our only way because God does love us! Many false religions will share the love of God... but what "god" are they referring to and how would they know unless we preach the Word to them and the coming judgment and about Jesus!The holy Spirit should alert them. I can't control who walks by and reads the sign. I do know he won't bring that sign out if there is a kids event going on at the square.
Yes, that's my point. If you're showing it to the general public, well, that includes kids, whether or not there's a kids' event going on.
