For Skeptics Only: Would you ever accept the burden of proof for atheism?

The actual topic is, "Would you ever accept the burden of proof for atheism?" I have never encountered an atheist who was willing to take on the burden of proof for their negative claim, and you are continuing to fail to deliver on that claim, as predicted.

Okay? I guess we can agree here. Then that just makes these rare exceptions within atheism much less "grounded" in their particular "ism." That means there's no point of reference for justifying the "ism." And yet, you just listed other philosophies of life, the universe, and everything...

    What Convinced you God Exists?

This isn't hyperbole. This isn't said for effect. This isn't me having a shot across your bows. This is me being honest: I'm not trying to appeal to you on that level. I'm not a salesman. I'm not trying to sugarcoat the truth for you. But what am I responding to? Hmm. . .? All the shouty...

But you're saying that if it weren't online, then things would be a lot different. Truth is aggressive. Truth is combative. I was just as shocked to come to realize this as anyone else. Wasn't calling them garbage though, and you know it. Not all ideas are considered equal. Who taught...

    What Convinced you God Exists?

I've had close personal friends that I've had for years that I've tried having a "reasonable conversation" about this stuff. And they immediately flipped out. They turn on a dime. I'd never seen it until I "went there" with them. They'd suddenly go nose-to-nose with me: "I DON'T BELIEVE IN...

In the same-sense as a child walking into a freeway, and me pushing them out of oncoming traffic. Yes, it can be sudden, uncomfortable, and objectionable to the child. But it's a loving act all the same. The prove it. Stop making it about me. Ask why.

^ Note: "ideas" are separate from "person," unless you're so intimately tangled up in those ideas that you can't even tell who "you" are at all. Theoretically, an atheist should be above it all, and be able to calmly and impartially examine the "meta" without getting personally involved...

For Skeptics Only: Would you ever accept the burden of proof for atheism?

Is this going to start drifting into "No True Scotsman" territory? That's what this ongoing thread is about, you know.

*raising hand* Because atheists conflate their contradictory "non-stamp collecting" ideology with who they are personally?

Is that "is" statement absolutely certain? How much pride and arrogance must I have to compete with someone's pride and arrogance that they believe they know more than GOD?!???

That, or I used to be an atheist myself.

But if that were truly the case, then I wouldn't be reported all the time.

I'm only a stranger to them. But to me, they're not.
