Born in Indiana & raised on a large agricultural & live stock farm. My father, an alcoholic, left my mother & sister when I was 3. My mother remarried a truck driver & alcoholic. They divorced after 7 years when I was 13.
I excelled in track in grade school and went on to receive a scholarship to run track @ Purdue University. When my grandfather passed away, I opted to not continue my college education after my freshman year.
I went on to be a school bus driver, Varsity track & swim coach for 4 years. I also coached for Purdue University & drove buses for their football team.
I returned to college @ the age of 28 and studied Art Education K-12, Fine Arts, Visual Communication Design & minored in Learning Disabilities for 4 years @ Purdue University. I studied for 3 years @ Herron School of Art and received my Bachelors of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Drawing, Painting & Ceramics in 2001.
