Those who have converted to christianity how has it made your life better? Please don't answer vaguely like "I'm more in touch with Jesus now" How does that actually effect your life? Being more in touch with Jesus/god?

Has anyone ever read any literature that attempts to disprove your god? Has anyone here honestly looked at all the facts with unbiased eyes, just let go of your beliefs and faith for a moment and considered that god doesn't exist. What then went through your head?
