Hate in this regard is simply meant to not regard this life as all there is and forsake Christ to embrace it. Of course there is much to enjoy, just not to the detriment of our Christian pursuits.

However, the emotions connected to the game are quite real, and that is something to be aware of. Older post I know but newly read by me.

We are told to hate this life so you may well be onto something there. Im with you on all the above, but I love to sing and Ive lately developed a desire to sing for God. So I will add that to the list above and wait my turn as well.

Lol, welcome to my world! I almost remembered that I forgot that I almost remembered. As I get older I find my thoughts so scattered I cant even follow a thread of thought sometimes as I forget whre I was going mid sentence. Awkward to say the least.

I hear you. Gaming cant be the only such activity, we are just unable to see that which we have never been aware of. Of course, if it is not of God then we are just trading one vice for another.....

Same here. Found that getting into at home bible study and watching vids of favorite pastors gets me in the mood to dive in and come back up for air later. Dont have any study buddies yet so not having that verbal chatter associated to multiplyer games is something I miss, tho not the trash...
