Who do you say Jesus is?

Jesus is God

• Jhn 10:30 – "I and the Father are one."
• Jhn 5:18 – For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
• Jhn 10:33 – The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out [to be] God."
• Jhn 19:7 – The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out [to be] the Son of God."

Jesus is Holy

• Isa 6:3 – And one called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory."
• Jas 1:13 – Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
• Col 2:9 – For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
• Heb 4:15 – For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as [we are, yet] without sin.
• Jhn 8:46 – “Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?
• 1Pe 1:16 – because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”

Jesus is the Savior

• 2Th 1:9 – These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
• Eph 2:1-3 – And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
• 1Ki 8:46 – "When they sin against You (for there is no man who does not sin) and You are angry with them and deliver them to an enemy, so that they take them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;
• Rom 3:23 – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
• Jer 13:23 – "Can the Ethiopian change his skin Or the leopard his spots? [Then] you also can do good Who are accustomed to doing evil.
• Rom 3:10-12 as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."

• Eze 18:4 – "Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die.
• Act 4:12 – "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

• 1Pe 3:18 – For Christ also died for sins once for all, [the] just for [the] unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
• Rom 3:26 – for the demonstration, [I say,] of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
• Jhn 3:16 – "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
• Tit 2:13 – looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,

Jesus is the Only Acceptable Object of Saving Faith

• Jhn 14:6 – Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Jesus is Lord

• Jhn 1:3 – All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
• Col 1:16 – For by Him all things were created, [both] in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities–all things have been created through Him and for Him.
• Psa 103:19 – The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.

• Rom 10:9 – that if you confess with your mouth Jesus [as] Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
• Phi 2:10-11 – so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
• Rom 1:4 – who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord,
• Act 17:30-31 – "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all [people] everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead."
• Isa 55:7 – Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
• Jhn 8:31 – So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, [then] you are truly disciples of Mine;
• Jas 2:19 – You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.
• Eph 2:10 – For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Jesus is the Judge

• Act 17:30-31 – "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all [people] everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead."
• 2Th 1:7-8 – and [to give] relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

How will you respond?

• The Bible says Jesus is the living God, the Holy One, the Savior, the only valid object of saving faith, the sovereign Lord, and the righteous Judge.
• Jesus alone can redeem you—free you from the power and penalty of sin.
• Jesus alone can transform you, restore you to fellowship with God, and give your life eternal purpose.
• Will you repent and believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
