Who is the enemy? Men are unwilling to accept the plain truth. Was Yeshua accepted by his own?

"And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

Says "every tree" and then specifically mentions the forbidden one.

It also seems to confirm what Eve observed, "...pleasant to the sight and good for food."

So really, there are two forbidden trees in the beginning:

"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Genesis 3:17
And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life"

And after the first forbidden tree was eaten of:

"He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life."

But there is a way to eat of one of the forbidden trees:

"Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates."

Seems to speak of the Egyptian Pharoh as a tree type...a tree in Eden...so maybe the knowledge of good and evil has to do with mystery religions (esoteric stuff).

If this is the case then I can see the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, definitely being destroyed, with no way to obtain it's fruit for all eternity. Or maybe eternal death is its fruit, forever obtained.

Maybe so. Mystics do seem to have a much different understandings that they are able to find in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Who planted the tares? Who is the enemy or our adversary? Do goats transform into sheep? They seem to be eternal qualities, the nature of things.

Let us reason together. Shall we? If every tree was good for food then no fruit should be rejected or forbidden. Mark 7:19 and I Timothy 4:4

There is only one forbidden tree, that poisonous tree, that wicked tare planted by our adversary or enemy. We must stop thinking like carnal men, put on the mind of Christ. John writes about those that have a right to the tree of life! Surely the way to the tree of life is guarded by a flaming sword which is the Word of G_d. If John claims that those people who keep the commandments have a right to eat from it, the tree of life can never be forbidden. Revelation 22:14

Maybe so. Mystics do seem to have a much different understandings that they are able to find in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

If you choose not to see something you will never see it Sometimes
it is better to have your eyes closed in prayer, than to eat from the forbidden tree and have your eyes open. We walk by faitth, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. Perhaps you should close your eyes in deep thought or meditation so you may " see what I am saying". It is difficult to see spiritual things with your eyes open.

This is a Garden that God planted. And it was good. "But there are weeds" was not said.
