  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Patriarchy 2.0

I wanted to discuss patriarchy's resurgence and where Christians fit into the conversation. Should Christians be involved? If you agree, how should we address the subject? What would you say? If you disagree, how would you respond to the topic as a believer? I'm bringing this to your attention...

Psalm 82:6- I said Ye are gods....Are we actual gods?

I stumbled upon this video and it has been very thought provoking.... If it's true, it will change my whole perspective on how I view myself in my Christian faith. I felt inspired to do more than just the bare minimum. Any thoughts and is this true?

The western world hates PATRIARCHY and the church ignores it. By this are we sinning?

Some think that patriarchy is about power. But I think it is about responsibility and it is the system directed in the Bible. But we have stepped away from patriarchy. Is that a sin and why does the church avoid this topic? The God-given authority of a man, it has been misused and squandered...

Does it seem to you like the Complementarian and Patriarchal Movements are losing influence?

I know that blogs and figures like The Transformed Wife, Mrs. Midwest, and Roosh V are still popular, and complementarianism is still popular within much of mainstream Christianity. But I've noticed that since the Josh Duggar and Doug Phillips scandals, the #MeToo movement, and many people's...

Why there CANNOT be any True Patriarchy without Polygyny!

Dearly beloved Brethren (and Sisters) in Christ! If you look on Google for "Christian polygyny", you will find HUNDREDS of websites, all of them PATRIARCHALIST, earnestly contending that not only was Polygyny allowed in the OT, but NOTHING in the New Testament can be justly construed to FORBID...

    Grammatical Gender and Sexism

Row over 'sexist' language riles France With all these stories of pronouns and fireperson instead of man, it is heartening that it could have been worse. Except for modes of transportation like ships and cars, and archaicly countries, English does not have grammatical gender. French however...
