Is self-killing a sin in your tradition?

Ending your life or anyone else's life is a transgression against God. It is a sin. The question IMO is how culpable is the person.

How is it that the Catholic Church is evil?

Absolutely. "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it" George Santayana.

How is it that the Catholic Church is evil?

Your objection is with Jesus. He gave men the authority to forgive sons. So you blame someone else for your own weakness. No one would argue with that. But it doesn't address the fact Jesus gave men the authority to forgive sins Wow, what Jesus said is worthless.

How is it that the Catholic Church is evil?

Haha, we have a new so called Christian who is repeating the same old tired claims that have been debunked. Welcome to the forum

Has anyone ever known a protestant who defended the Catholic faith and later converted?

It does flow both ways. But based on this forum and a lot of other reading, I've come to the conclusion that converts to The Catholic Church are (in general ) much more serious that the other way around. The Catholic Church loses lazy people while she gains people on fire for Christ.... IMO

The worst kind of heretic is the one who, while teaching mostly true Catholic doctrine, add a word of heresy, like a drop of poison in a cup of water. — Pope Leo XIII

Bishop Barron Vigorously Defends Himself Against Accusations He Is Catholic

Vatican II didn't need to happen. No clarification of doctrine came from it. The only thing that resulted from it was confusion. Bishop Barron "jumped the shark" when he told Ben Shapiro that Jesus is "the preferred way"

People who die as infants go to Heaven, right? Is there a good argument to the contrary?

Infants who are Baptized and afterwards die before they are of the age of reason to commit personal sin certainly go straight to Heaven.

    C. S. Lewis On Why He Never Became A Catholic

To put it simply, and I know this is gonna ruffle some feather, but all validly Baptized believers become members of the Catholic Church. Original Sin is washed away and we become a new creation. Validly Baptized means proper matter, proper form, and proper intention. Many protestants use...

    C. S. Lewis On Why He Never Became A Catholic

Paul in his letter to the Corinthians tells us that Baptism makes us part of His Body. The Gospel of tells us that unless we are born again of water and spirit, we do not have eternal life. Acts clearly demonstrates that Christ and His Church are One. Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me...

    C. S. Lewis On Why He Never Became A Catholic

That deals with only the class of people who knows that the Catholic Church is necessary. It doesn't say a word about those who don't know, if they will be saved. Please, don't read into things. Read the words and only the words. Don't add between the lines.

    C. S. Lewis On Why He Never Became A Catholic

Yes, I am familiar with this. My question was to see if the poster could explain what it meant because "God knows the heart" is thrown around too much.
