Sure - I don't think those were not dumb enough to not vote for Trump deserve a man who is antithetical to the American Dream; we should not have to suffer high inflation, should not have to accept lifestyles we do not agree with, suffer the 12,000,000 unregistered, illegal aliens, should not have to bury children who are killed by people who should have never been here to begin with, should not have to bury 13 because of a botched withdrawal that his generals said don't do - we should not have to abandon our greatest ally in the Middle East to appease a group of professional protestors.

Nope. Like I said in the other thread, even assuming that all the people there were from NJ, which we know is not true, and taking the IMO doubtful number of 100k as accurate, that still works out to be only about 7% of registered Republicans. That's not even a terribly strong showing among registered Republicans, in a state that has over 1.5 registered Democrats as Republicans and in which the Republican party lost the last presidential election by 16 points.

And in the picture I was describing, the venue was less than half full. Looks like I’d be a pretty good census taker. That’s probably because I don’t blindly take the word of a professional huckster (who’s lied about crowd sizes in the past) and his elected sycophants.
I don’t know how many 10k+ person events you’ve been to, but I’ve been to plenty, including one that was somewhere between 200-400k. The notion that that crowd was 100k is laughable.
So, where did the city’s inflated number come from?

Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano said the estimate includes not only those at the rally but everyone who came to the city to be part of the day but never made it to the rally.

Troiano said the 80,000 estimate includes everyone in front of Trump on stage as well as everyone who came into the city to be part of the day but never made it to the rally, plus the people on the boardwalk and along Trump's motorcade route.
"You're gonna have 'he says, she said, we said, you said' numbers. We're waiting to see what kind of numbers come back from some of the different sources," Troiano said. "I talked to some people that came into town for the rally but didn't want to go to the rally because they don't like to be around big crowds but wanted to be here because Trump was here."

It came from the mayor and some other public officials, but they included all the people up on the boardwalk and along the motorcade route, because reasons.

How are you supposed to tell just from looking at the attendance at a rally?
When I go to an Iron Maiden concert, it is amazing, thousands of Iron Maiden fans all around you, singing, laughing, having fun. Very hard to find anyone that is not an Iron Maiden fan, but then you go away from the concert venue and into the city and it is hard to find any Maiden fans.
Do you see how that works? Certain people flock to a specific location because something is there that interests them. They aren't a representation of the area, that spot gets overwhelmed with that certain type of person.
Anyway, most people that vote for a president, don't actually go to political rallies.
