There are different views on what the final destiny will be for those who reject God. Its spans from optimistic to detrimental. In the end, no one really knows as scripture is unclear. Blessings.Also is it still just if the suffering is unbearable?
Hi I meant would it be just if hell hypothetically involved eternal suffering?There are different views on what the final destiny will be for those who reject God. Its spans from optimistic to detrimental. In the end, no one really knows as scripture is unclear. Blessings.
If it is not just then it would be vengeance.Hi I meant would it be just if hell hypothetically involved eternal suffering?
So then the case of a 14 year old who dies without accepting Christ -- getting infinite torture vs Hitler getting infinite torture?Also is it still just if the suffering is unbearable?

ok -- but if we agree that infinite torture for a 14 year old is not "fair" - we still need to know if the Bible actually says such a thing.@BobRyan
Hi my question is not whether the Bible says if there is eternal torment for the unsaved but whether that would be just and fair for all of the unsaved.
Ok I was expecting you to say that if God did it then it must be 100% moral since God defines what is moral.ok -- but if we agree that infinite torture for a 14 year old is not "fair" - we still need to know if the Bible actually says such a thing.
God could choose to be an unjust , unfair, unloving God who is arbitrary ... But the Bible tells us that He did not choose that path.Ok I was expecting you to say that if God did it then it must be 100% moral since God defines what is moral.
If it is moral to kill everything that breathes including animals and babies then maybe it is moral to send most people to hell forever... ?But what about the cities the Lord your God is giving you as your own? Kill everything that breathes in those cities. Completely destroy them. Wipe out the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. That’s what the Lord your God commanded you to do. If you don’t destroy them, they’ll teach you to do all the things the Lord hates. He hates the way they worship their gods. If you do those things, you will sin against the Lord your God.

@BobRyan
On the topic of God always being 100% moral what about this passage:
Deuteronomy 20:16-18
If it is moral to kill everything that breathes including animals and babies then maybe it is moral to send most people to hell forever... ?
Those who are not born again are dead in trespass and sin. Heaven will be intolerable for them. The suffering is the consequence of rejecting Christ. God is not unjust. There is the principle of sowing and reaping and God applies that with perfectly righteous judgement.Also is it still just if the suffering is unbearable?
