SCOTUS Limits Federal Judges’ Ability to Block Executive Actions Nationwide

I actually have my suspicions that rhe court will rule that the kids are citizens and things will remain the same. Because I have no faith that congress will address it. It will be status quo. This will present an important opportunity and Congress while screw it up like it always does.

Slavery is something else entirely. If you are stolen from one country and forcibly taken to another, I have no issues with your children being a citizen. Most slaves had no way to get home. We are talking about people who come here on their own voluntarily.

Well certainly not you or I. Not with a private business. The workers of course can band together and make demands. Whether that works or not will vary. Now we do have elections, and if the people in a state say that everyone needs to be paid $30 an hour at least, then they can elect...

Thats where we all are. We are all helping the poor. The question is are they really poor. What was Jesus l'definition of poor. Because rhe poor of his day were far different and in desperate need than the poor if our day. The poor of our day are being well taken care of by and large.

Your politics and social views are only informed to the degree which you wish them to be. Poverty in Jesus day was a real thing. Real poverty. This country provides MORE help and MORE services to the "poor" than you can imagine. Jesus said the "poor". And he did not provide a specific...

If course it trickles down. It just doesn't in the way you think it should. If it didnt trickle down we would have no economy or jobs. We'd be like the Middle Ages or Jesus day. We have such abundance in this country that the "poor" aren't really poor.

I dont know how this will play out. Everyone of course is allowed their opinion. And court is allowed theirs. If they decide that the child is in fact a citizen, then so be it. Congress then needs to change immigration law to clarify rhat the child is a citizen, the parents are still...

SCOTUS Limits Federal Judges’ Ability to Block Executive Actions Nationwide

Irrelevant. The parents are. The parents are citizens of another country and do not have legal rights to remain in this country. Children born of citizens of another country who do not have a legal right to remain in this one should be citizens of the country of the parents. Thats our...

Fine then get together with all your other pie makers and demand more. By rhe way those workers wouldn't be making pies if there wasn't some who took a risk to build the business to make pies. Rhwre would be fewer opportunities for those workers to have a job in the first place. In America...

Louisiana indicts N.Y. doctor charged with prescribing abortion pills to Louisiana girl ; first criminal case of a doctor since Roe

There is a VAST difference between the poor of Jesus day and the poor of today. We do an amazing job at helping the poor in this country including having a great economy and opportunities to get out of poverty. Things that were impossible at the time if Christ. 1) While around 15 percent of...

The wealth is not a pie. The amount of income is not stagnant. If one tries to look at it like a pie where there is only so much pie and ic you take the biggest piece there others will only get smaller pieces until it runs out. There is no limit. A poor person can get wealthy. The rich...
