  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hell doesn't exist and there is no eternal suffering, instead bad peolle just cease to exist

Please, by all means continue with your totally unbiblical cherry picked doctrine. Someone who loves to tout this verse- Matthew 4:4 "But He answered and said, "It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"." But then proceeds to...

Hell doesn't exist and there is no eternal suffering, instead bad peolle just cease to exist

Unbiblical and silly?? When we take the bible as a whole, it's always been life or death. What's silly is not taking to heart Christ's words when he calls the Lake of Fire "the second death" Even one of the most quoted verses in the bible supports it -John 3:16 which proves only one gets...

    The sequence of events

Hello :) I was raised in a church that taught a pretribulation rapture as well and it is not biblical. So it's good that you're questioning the teaching. Many of us have been down that same road. I do know that both Christ and Paul give out strict warnings on not to be deceived about the...

Are professed Christians that worship our Lord on Sunday instead of Saturday sinning?

Exactly. And that's what he stated in that verse -sabbaton days. Sabbaton is the day of weekly repose. So there's no getting around Paul's meaning here. And he includes them all and separates them for emphasis. It has nothing to do with special sabbaths or anything like that. He already...

Are professed Christians that worship our Lord on Sunday instead of Saturday sinning?

It wasn't his plan on what was happening in Gen 6. And these verses have nothing to do with that.

Are professed Christians that worship our Lord on Sunday instead of Saturday sinning?

Yes, the word states Noah was a preacher but God had decided to wipe out all flesh in the flood and "only" save Noah and his family. That is a fact. He did not plan on saving anyone but them. You can insert whatever belief you may have but it's not going to change that fact. He stated he was...

The Thing Most Sabbath Keepers Do not Talk About.

That's the difference, I exalt Christ every day.

Are professed Christians that worship our Lord on Sunday instead of Saturday sinning?

The one I know was sick of the wickedness and repented that he had made man in the flesh. Noah was the only one perfect (without blemish) in his generations. His family had not mixed. God had a plan and what was going on was not it. I'm sure he did before the flood. These scriptures are fact-...

Are professed Christians that worship our Lord on Sunday instead of Saturday sinning?

God had no intention at that time to save the majority regardless. His plan only included saving Noah and his family. I know many claim that Noah warned people, etc about the flood but that is not biblical. God told Noah he was going to destroy them.

Again, you are mistaking me for someone who claims we should observe Sunday instead of Saturday and you would be mistaken. I don't hold one day over any day. That's not what entering Christ's rest is about. Man's word. Sadly many people of many denominations are going to fall for the show...

The Thing Most Sabbath Keepers Do not Talk About.

That's pretty funny coming from someone who believes that Sunday worship is the mark of the beast. No where in scripture states that. One could worship 7 days a week if one wanted to.( And anyone worshipping Satan/Antichrist will receive the mark of the beast regardless of the day) But you don't...

The Thing Most Sabbath Keepers Do not Talk About.

We have discussed them on numerous threads. I have even posted in #183 about verse 10 We have our context early on in these verses talking about His rest. We have already discussed our beliefs about sabbatismos. You believe it's talking about the weekly and I don't. Verse 10 tells us this is...

Been there, done that many times. Not looking to debate you again, I have my beliefs about that chapter and see them clearly within those verses just as you have yours regarding that chapter.
