  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    The Conjunction of Opposites

I didn't say he had a flesh body. I said he had a body. Is this verse utter nonsense? John 3:18 "He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." He does the saving, he is the...

    The Conjunction of Opposites

I never stated he had a flesh body. But he does have a body. Angels look just like we do. Regardless of whether they're fallen or not. No, of course not. Yes, every verse matters and we need to know them but not every verse applies to everyone, that's your problem. You lump everyone together...

    The Conjunction of Opposites

Yes, in the beginning of life in the flesh for mankind this is true. Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman], and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel. But the verses in Ezekiel, Isaiah, Job, etc before that make it...

    The Conjunction of Opposites

No, the Hebrew makes it pretty clear- In the Hebrew -without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely sound, without spot, undefiled, It was only when iniquity was found in him that he ceased to be perfect -tamin in the Hebrew. Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory...

    The Conjunction of Opposites

The Bible when taken as a whole makes it pretty clear that he was perfect until iniquity was found in him. What you call "nothing more" is actually the basis of why God had to wipe out that time period and start again with this earth age. He was never created as an evil being. But believe what...

    When is Jesus coming back?

I think it's more important to realize that Christ states he comes at an hour most do not expect. Many are waiting on Christ right now believing he can return at any moment. And yet he will only return when the signs he lays out comes to pass. And Paul also lays out what must take place before...

    Who is the Antichrist?

If we are specifically talking about the man of sin that will sit on the throne proclaiming to be God - it seems pretty clear to me that these verses mirror one another- Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning how art thou cut down to the ground, which...

Can ChatGPT interpret speaking in tongues?

That's fine if you and others believe so. For me personally, looking at the history through the years, it seems very inconsistent how it's portrayed, taught and so on. And I just happen to interpret Paul's teaching differently. I was told since I haven't experienced it, I have no clue to what...

I Corinthians 14:15 "What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also." He continues.. Corinthians 14:16 "Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth...

Can ChatGPT interpret speaking in tongues?

Paul's main intent in this chapter is about edifying the church and which is the better gift to do so. For example if someone walked into church and spoke in an unknown language to the rest the only thing he could do is edify himself. Edify means to build up and we are talking about things that...

Can ChatGPT interpret speaking in tongues?

Again, no offense to anyone but I'm just not seeing that in these verses. I Corinthians 14:14 "For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful." I Corinthians 14:15 "What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding...

Can ChatGPT interpret speaking in tongues?

God is the heart and mind knower. He doesn't need for us to pray to him in a language not known to us. Christ taught us how to pray. And God provides for the needs not spoken because he does know our hearts and minds. Romans 8:26 "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know...

Can ChatGPT interpret speaking in tongues?

Paul makes a point that it would be unfruitful to pray in this manner. We need to understand what we are praying about. As for the church- I Corinthians 14:9 "So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak...

Can ChatGPT interpret speaking in tongues?

Well, that's the thing. If an interpreter is interpreting period it would be a known language to them. It wouldn't be unknown to them personally. I see the pentecostal tongue for what it was and that it was miraculous that they each heard it in their own language. But I just don't see this as...
