    The statue of liberty is an example of private enterprise. It was funded by private citizens of both the USA and France. I am sure the french state donated some funds, but the conception, design was not by the french state, but a private individual and funding model was through shares.

    I believe this was essentially the dissenting opinion from the Supreme court case that set the current precedent.

    And it is a bad angle. What I see them actually trying is to get the supreme court to rule that lower courts can't block executive orders nationwide. I think that is the aim, trying to end birthright citizenship is merely a vehicle to get that ruling.
