What can you suggest for reading and sites on this? (I have some already dealing mostly with BGLT)

GLTB concerns are kinda my specialty, so other than that I don't know what you mean about "gender studies." Here are some of my favorite resources.

I would also like to add that
"Omnigender" by Virginia Ramey Mollenkott is probably the best book I've ever read regarding gender from a progressive Christian perspective.
In it, she argues for a gender fluid Deity and a gender fluid Christianity. Good stuff.

Are you just interested in BGLT stuff, or are you also interested in stuff like the roles of men and women in the church, and in society in general. That's my little area of interest and I've got some websites and book titles if you're interested.

My dad seemed to like the book "Eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven" but I don't really know what it was about.

It may sound odd coming from a bisexual ifeminist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ifeminism), but gender studies have never been of great interest to me. The primary way I study gender differences is casual chats with my friends, which includes gay and straight men and women. People are people, and though biology does affect our thinking, we are all human beings first, and men and women second.

Btw, smoked cheddar goes extremely well with a nice Chilean Merlot.
