At first a small three room apartment. Then we moved to a three bedroom apartment. Now we live in a 4 bdr. over 2000 sq.ft. house. Been on my own for a long time since I was 19. I'm in the middle of a divorce. (Not by choice). I have (had) 3 daughter. My oldest (10 at the time) died a year ago in an accident. My youngest (8yo) is severely/profoundly mentally retarded, autistic and non-verbal. She lives in a group home an hour away. (Too difficult for me to handle on my own). It's just my 9yo and me now.

But we're making it. ;) Didn't fill out the poll. Not quite sure how to fill it out. ("With family"-- my dd, "On my own"-- since I'm not living w. parents, grandparents, etc. or "Married" as the divorce isn't final-- but will be soon).

A little OT:
Kelly, When I was just a toddler, we lived in an apartment (flat) and had a cat by the same name. (Except we spelled it Cleo). My parents came to later find out that SHE was a HE. (Not as obvious in cats as it is in dogs). Didn't have the heart to rename him "Leo" so "Cleo" he remained. :)

The cat I have right now is named "Alice," (named in honor of my mother). I asked her permission first. The cat I had before her was named after my Dad. It's funny. When I started naming my cats after my parents I was in my 20s and 30s and thought I'd never be married or have kids. (I got a late start. I married at the age of 31). My sister got a late start too-- so I thought it was safe. Lo and behold. My sister started having kids at the age of 32 and when she was 34 named one of hers after my dad-- so my father, my cat and one of her kids had the same name. Talk about confusing! :D
