Please, if you have the time, can you say a prayer that I can land this job I'm interviewing for today? I just moved home and have been looking for a job for over a month now and things are getting desperate as I'm not a woman of money and my limit is spent. Thank you.

As far as the volunteering ... past tense. My DRE already has all his CCD letters done and mailed without computer help! I've been praying Jabez's pray a lot lately and one morning, just before going over there, I prayed again to increase my territory as a Christian. Then when I was sitting there I heard my DRE on the phone needing CCD teachers ... aHA! There was my chance to increase boundaries. I've already taken the "Protect God's Children" workshop and will be a teachers aide till I can take the CCD workshop beginning next month.

As far as daily mass ... I am temping now in a job that is paying peanuts and will evaporate in 2 more weeks ... but that is another line of thinking we had in common. I never hesitate stopping by church. I did it yesterday and lit a candle before I left for the interview. I'm never too busy for God.

I'm not sure the interview went well ... I thought it did till I walked out the door and then reexamined it and felt a sick feeling. She said she still had other interviews and she'd give me a call next week.

If it's God's will ... then I'll get it. It would certainly provide for me and my daughter with it's pay, but the benefits ... wow! Since it's with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center .... all my education (except books) will be 100% free as will my daughter's when she graduates (and if I ever remarry ... my spouse and step-kids). This would be a very WONDERFUL opportunity for me to finish up my degree and then jump staight into my masters.

In the mean time ... I have to trust in God's will. :crossrc:

Still no answer on that interview. I did receive an email from her yesterday asking to send her my references and that she'd come to a decision soon.

In the mean time, yesterday, I got another call for an interview. This one is again with UPMC but a different location. I have to snicker at this (being the die-hard Steelers fan I am) ... the location is the Steelers new sports medicine facility. If God places me here ... I truly am blessed! God's been using my Steelers to get to this stubborn soul of mine for several years now ... it's how I first opened a bible and began earnestly reading it. Could this be another instance? I pray it is.

I go on this one Wednesday at 3 again ... keep me in your prayers please.
