Well, he is such a brainiac that he picked the coolest name possible...and yes, we ended up naming the forum after his CF name because his CF name is at the heart of our faith.

Here is a post (not quite finished yet) that talks about theologia crucis...

FAQ #1 "What in the world is "Theologia Crucis"? (http://www.christianforums.com/showthread.php?p=8536318&postcount=24)

Wow, now a thread after me, too!

I'm not worthy!

And I can barely eat 2 eggs, let alone 50! It's gonna be tough for you, bud!

Hey ICE50E,

Did you give yourself the name because of a contest you were in or something?

Well, I see they've answered. I think you would need a forum about eating 50 eggs or maybe stupid world records? I never really thought about the name of the forum other than realizing that hey, that's Theology of the Cross - good Lutheran name.

I could ask what could I do to get a KagomeShuko forum. . .not that I want one at all. . .but it does mean "an idea of everlasting light" - which I didn't know when I originally chose the name for the Internet.

Cool Hand Luke was mentioned in the movie Serendipity. Serendipity starred John Cusack.
:)

Now, being the Lutheran's we are, let's get back to the topic at hand.

So then was your name taken from a character in the movie or from something Newman said in the movie?

Cheese Baby!

Just lastnight (in the middle of that horrible storm that was Jeanne) I was at the supermarket buying Cracker Barrel Sharp Cheddar, Laughing Cow Swiss Spread Wedges, A pound of Cooper Sharp Cheese, Shredded taco cheese, Microwavable Cheeze Wiz, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Squeezy Cheese in a can (yes, I know, the Holy Grail of Cheeses)!

That doesn't include cheeses to cook with, like Ricotta and Parmesan Romano I picked up for dinners :)

I might need 50 eggs for all this when I'm done ;)

Robb

Oh, this was a thread about something else, wasn't it? *scratches head*

Sorry!

I wonder... Will I live long enough to ever see a thread on TCCL actually stay on topic? :D

I doubt it...

Now I know why you make a good Lutheran...you are such an order freak!!! You should know we have a pack of atypical renegades here--the "freedom" we enjoy in not letting the topic hold us hostage is quite refreshing. :D Keep that in mind when you take on your new task! ;)

Hey, buddy, missed you!!! Hope your busness travels were productive and worth your time and efforts.

Peace

No, because if it did, we wouldn't be Lutherans!
