In the last days, there will come a time in the Feast of Trumpets when Yeshua is crowned king. Up to that time we have been lead like sheep to the slaughter for our faith, but if Yeshua is crowned then his subjects are no longer subject to the death decrees by the wicked. We are victors with Yeshua. The verse used to show that there is a great slaughter during the time of trouble is:
Revelation 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
But lets take a closer look here....
Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
Rev 7 and 14 are about the saints, both the 144,000 and the multitude.
Rev 6 happens before this event.
REv 11 show a difference between the experience of those who are in the temple of God and those who are not. Now in the court which is without the temple, you find the symbolism of the sacrifice of The Lamb of God at the altar of sacrifice and you also find the Basin where the priests wash, sybolism of the baptism into the new priesthood of believers in Messiah.
It is the difference in the measuring, which I picture as sealing, and once sealed by God, no one can touch let alone kill. For you are now the apple of God's eye.
Give this some thought and all insights will be interesting.
