I just saw you're thread about the thread in OBOB, so please dont think that im here to cause trouble, i have honest questions. I like to ask questions about different denominations, but i havent done it in a while bc last time i did...well they didnt like Catholics, so im hoping that i learn more here than i did in that forum. I dont know much about Messianic Jews, so my questions arent going to be too specific til i learn more. My first question is who is Yeshua? Is that just another name for Jesus, if so why do you call him that? and with answering this question if you could give my basic background info on Messianic Jews so that i can make my questions more specific, i would be very grateful.

Who is Yeshua -- Yeshua is the original name for Jesus, Jesus is the english translation of the greek Iesus. It was what all those who knew him called him. :)
We have a FAQ at the top of the forum you could browse through and then come back and ask.
Shalom! ( Peace) :)

The Hebrew word for Torah literally means "teaching" or "instruction" and comes from the root word meaning "to shoot straight" like an arrow at a bullseye.
