Database of Lutheran churches

Somebody online told me that he attends a Lutheran church called "Hilltop Meadows Lutheran" somewhere in or near Bandera, TX or another city around that area.

I've searched the Internet for that name - including ELCA. LCMS, WELS, and ELS, as well as search engines and the white pages.

I've not found such a thing anywhere. I know it's possible it's not listed, but it seems highly unlikely to exist when I can't find it anywhere online at all.

Does anybody know if there's a place where I can find it or if it is really a church.

I get a bad feeling with this guy, and sometimes I feel he's lying to me about quite a few things. I wouldn't want this to be one of them, but it seems it might be, so I was just wondering if anybody actually knew.

I did a Yahoo search for churches in and around Bandera. There is no Lutheran church listed in Yahoo under the name "Hilltop Meadows." I also did a general search for just Christian churches that might have that name and nothing was found in Bandera or surrounding country. It might be a new listing but if I were you be cautious and ask for a specific street address and city or town.

Thanks. Same thing I got - nothing. In fact, I get nothing about a church when I search the following:

"Hilltop meadows" church

Also, didn't sound like a name of a Lutheran church (in general) to me. No, st., no joy, no grace, no trinity. . LOL

I come up with nothing every single time. I've asked some more questions to other people about things he's told me, so maybe I'll find out pretty soon.

I searched... and I found... The same as everyone else- that being, Nothing...

Something just smells bad about that name, too...

I didn't find anything with this either, but I found out something that definitely needed to be known. Talking to a friend of mine who also talked to this person, said that he was a MORMON and even told this guy, a gal friend of mine, and this guys mother about MORMON beliefs and called the LUTHERAN - definitely not what ANY branch of Lutheranism needs!

I didn't find a "hilltop meadows mormon" either, but there were tons more results with those words, even ones including the city in which he lives.

I just hope he's not made somebody mind too closed towards Lutheranism by feeding them Mormon beliefs!
