View Full Version : Changes Part II

Well, I guess I should start with saying sorry, because of all the bad stuff that happened in my Changes thread. When I started that thread, my life was not really going well, and I had to find faith in something strong and solid, so I chose just straight Judaism, and threw away Yeshua, my savior. Well, it has been a week and I have asked G-D to help guide me to the true faith, whether it be Judaism, or Messianic Judaism, and it was Messianic Judaism. You see, I woke up at 6:00 A.M. this morning, (which is something that I never do on a Sunday, LOL) and I was fearing the devil, and not being saved, and all of this really scary stuff. I think G-D was trying to tell me that Yeshua is my savior, and if I want him to save me then I better believe in him. Anyways my life is going great right now. I just got back from dinner at this wonderful Mexican restarunt with my family, we spent $74.00, and the food was absoutley wonderful! The only bad thing is that my grandmother's house only has one bathroom, and we all had beans in our dinner! :help: Also today my mother and I went to Wal-Mart and picked out some curtins and bathroom stuff for our new house, and tomorrow while I am at school my mother and father are going there to clean and set some things up. My life is getting back to normal, or I should say my "new" life. My parents are meeting with the insurance guy tomorrow, because we had renters insurance on our old house, and they should hopefully get about $40,00 for all the stuff that we lost. I am also getting a car on Tuesday, and new furniture in my room! I guess that when G-D closes one door he opens another, better door, atleast in my case.
I just want to say thanks you guys, for being there for me. You are the only people who relate to me on the most important thing in my life, Messianic Judaism. My life is getting a whole lot better, and it is all because of G-D.
Oh, yeah, I did not read all of the Changes thread, but I just want to let everyone know that the people here on the Messianic board have NOT at all tried to get me to loose my faith in Yeshua. It was only I who lost my faith because I wanted to feel like I belonged to a group, not them. Infact, it is most likely those of you anti Messianic Christians who made me loose my faith in Yeshua for that short while. I would rather be a Jew, than be an Anti-Semetic Christian! Well, on that note, I say Shalom Shalom, and I am once againg a believer Yeshua HaMasiah (is that how you spell it?) I look foward to starting my new life, and getting to know you guys a little bit better.
Shalom

no MJT - what happened in that thread was all about issues that poster had long before you became a member - it *really* had nothing to do about you - you were simply a lightning rod for her ---- so VERY sorry you got caught in the firestorm!!!

Yeshua HaMasiah (is that how you spell it?) Well, it's a transliteration from another alphabet, so there's really no correct spelling, but it seems that most go with something along the lines of "Yeshua HaMoshiach."

Thats good news indeed MJTerry....(I asume that the MJ stands for Messianic Jew)? :)
You've got to hold fast to the truth Terry....and never waver...never let go of it, and dont let any Doubting Thomas's lead you off the Narrow Path.
Yahweh bless you and keep you

Thanks guys, I am glad to be back!
And Bon, MJ stands for Michael James, my name Michael, and my middle name James. My last name is Terry, and I was born in 1987, so MJTERRY87. I never realized that though. MJ- Messianic Jew; MJ- Michael James! Maybe G-D was planning my life in MJism before I was born?

Hi MJTerry,
Praise G-d for your return to faith!!!
I would challenge you to re-think what you said above, however. No one can make you lose your faith:
"I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand." (John 10:28-29, ESV)
I, too have experienced a loss of faith for a time--and it lasted years. But though I can say others tried to influence me one way or another, the decision was not theirs.
I would be especially cautious of trying to blame your brothers and sisters in the Messiah for causing you to lose faith. We might disagree on a great many things about our faith, but I don't think it's fair at all to blame them for apostacy.
In Messiah,
Daniel

Heh heh -- my eldest also has the initials MJ for his first and middle names :) and he is on fire for G-d and always has been earnest and unwavering in learning and holding to the Truth -- an uncommon young man, as you also are, MJT.
Many hugs and blessings, prayers for you, and welcomes. I'm so glad you are here. :)

If I am not mistaken, that particular comment of MJT's was in reply to the situation we had here just these past days, in which a troll levied accusations against this forum's members specifically, that we were responsible here for MJT's growing pains and short-lived ( :prayer: thanks be to G-d) denial of Yeshua as Messiah. I think MJT was simply pointing out that, if ANYTHING, it was not this forum's members.
Shalom :)
~Z~ pleased as punch to have MJT sticking with the walk.

Yeah, it was just me. I have nothing really against Christians, just those who make me feel like being a Messianic is not right.

MalkyEL/Elyonmishpat:
Please do not try to misrepresent me Zemirah. I said that some of the statements and actions that have occured on this forum by some members [not all], can cause a young believer to stumble, and I posted some examples of my concerns. Discussion/refutation would be a better approach to them than name calling. [IMHO]

Heh heh -- I didn't have to "misrepresent you" ME EM. You represented yourself very clearly. And BTW, notice that MJT already affirmed I had it correct in posting what you quoted of me.
And notice that you said people here had "blood on their hands" and far worse. So... presenting your concerns rather than running to other fora and accusing us here, or stooping to sensationalistic accusations... would have been a better approach in your case, Dear.

I never tried to make anyone feel like Messianic isn’t right, I would just like you to recognize what is, and what is not Messianic.

You know, I'm pretty sure CF bans people not accounts, so you're in violation of the rules by coming back with another account. Just FYI. ;)

Thank you Zemirah for recognizing that I did in fact represent myself very clearly.
Now I have a question for you. Were the words that I quoted, from members of this forum, or did I make them up?

I never tried to make anyone feel like Messianic isn’t right, I would just like you to recognize what is, and what is not Messianic. So... are you indeed bearing the MJ scroll-icon? After all, Nancy (or do you prefer Nana... or MalkyElahh?) ehn, anyway, I see you on a number of Baptist forums. So it causes me to wonder how it is you feel you are in a position to tell those of us here who are practicing MJ what is and is not MJ... we do have good mods here who are more than capable of holding a line on that, ya know.

Oh, yes, you certainly, certainly did ^_^. And notice, please, I was not the only one who saw your true colors. I believe you were emergency-banned, no?

Out-of-context, half-comments from year-old posts, blatant attempts to misrepresent them, attempts to make arguments that were FOR Yeshua out to be arguments against Him, and comments that in no way once supported your many accusations against forum members here (oh, but I forget, then you tried to backpedal, re-route the discussion some numerous times and pretend it was all about all sorts of things that it wasn't) -- you mean those comments??? Yeah -- you did a real bang up job there (sarcasm alert). LOL. Too bad you are back in the same form already, instead of being a responsible poster here. But hey, why start now, right?
