I have always been close to Jesus, but relied on him quite a bit after my divorce.I wanted to have some time to rebuild my faith and my self befor I started dating, but as luck would have it I met someone when I didn't think I was ready.I began to push the man away right from the beginning while at the same time I puled him toward me.I fell in love with him, but the damage was already done and there will probably never be another chance with this man.Does GOD get mad at us when we mess up and punish us? Or does it take him time to set another opportunity in front of us?

I dont think God will punish you. I mean, you were just trying to do what was right and give yourself time to do what you thought was right. What is meant to be, will be. I think God will give you other oppertunites.
I'm not very experienced in this, however, as I'm only 16!

So do you have a crystal ball and know that there will never be another chance with this guy ? If God means for you to be with him you will get back together. God doesn t punish us in anger He disciplines us in love. When we mess up there are consequences we have to deal with to ourselves and others but all things work together for good for those who love the LORD. I won t know why He has let some thing happen to me until I get to heaven but I know He has never stopped loving me.
