Well, as some of you know, I took some vacation time this week and met my mom Sunday in Las Vegas where we shared a little "Mother / Daughter Quality Time". :D Unfortunately...once we returned to my parents home mom broke the news to me that she has bladder cancer. The prognosis is not in yet...still many tests to take, decisions to make regarding treatment...
To add a bit of complexity to the problem, my father is deaf and relies completely on my mother to communicate for him. He lip reads and hers is the only set of lips he can still understand.
If you could squeeze in a few prayers for my mom, that the cancer has not spread and that her treatment is effective, and add a prayer that my father be comforted by Christ's peace as they pass through this difficulty, I'd be most grateful.
Thank you.....R

Having lost a parent to cancer I can understand where you are right now. She will be in my prayers as will you and your Dad and family.
God Bless.:crosself:

Heavenly Father,
Your love for us never falters in spite of our sins and failures, you are not far from any of us since it is in you that we live, move and have our being. Please show your mercy and care for Rose’s mother in this time of anxiety and concern. Use this situation to increase all of our awareness of your presence. We pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, our Savior and King,
Amen

Thank you all for your prayers...God has heard them! My mom's cancer was first diagnosed via the biopsy of a polyp that was removed. We had some good news today. No cancer was found in the CAT scan results! Now, we have one other test result to wait for...the bone scan. If that comes back clean my mom should be eligible for the least invasive, easiest form of treatment!
I'll let you know how that goes.....
Thank you, dear Father! :crosseo:

Praise the LORD.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD.

Hey ya'll on pretty much the same note, could you pray for me as well.
I have an abnormal bump frecklish looking thing on my hand, we dont think that it is cancer, but it has just popped up recently and since there is an extensive history of cancer in my family, please pray that is not. That would be just what I need right now, if it is.
Thanks ya'll,
