I know what the ELCA Youth Gatherings are like. We have them every three years and they are completely amazing events that are definitely beyond description, really. There's so much going on at once.

Anyway, for the past two gatherings, they've made it so people are able to buy a CD of the live music at the gathering. I bought the one from 2000 and I absolutely love it. Then, I found that at the moment, I could still download the songs from the 2003 gathering CD - officially from ELCA, and I did that.

They are some of the most amazing CDs.

It also seems that even though each gathering has it's own theme, the themes always run together. The one I knew about when I was too young to go was "2B Alive" then the first one I attended was "River of Life." The next one I attended was "Dancing at the Crossroads." The latest one was "Ubuntu - Do Life!"

They all seem to tie together in some way with the different themes and songs used.

I can only wonder what they'll have for the next theme for certain. When I last looked, they haven't said anything about the theme.

Anyway, what are the MS ones like? Do they have a huge worship service every day? Do they have the songs on a CD? Are there tons of events always happening?

Also, is there anybody reading this that attended the 2003 ELCA one? (If you're shy, as I always see guests on these forums, why don't you come join us? We don't bite!)
