It's always interesting to see what kind of personalities are behind a handle and avatar.
I scored 5w4 (main) Social (3w4 mean), and ISTJ, respectively.
If you have no idea what that means, go take the (yes, free!) test for yourself and check out the information following:

It's always interesting to see what kind of personalities are behind a handle and avatar. INFJ - Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging
"INFJs are intuitive, caring, quiet and peace-loving: deep and complex people who may seem equally at home dealing with the personal and analytical spheres of life. The interior world of vision and ideas is this type's most comfortable domain, but some degree of human connection is essential for the INFJ's happiness; a potential conflict for this type. Articulate, empathetic and idealistic, INFJs often say they just know things, they know them directly, and they may not be able to tell you how or why! INFJs seem to be able to feel others' feelings vicariously and sense the good and evil in situations: an almost psychic ability which may be an asset in many "people professions." Spiritual, sensitive and committed, INFJs enjoy being of service to others. Once this type's goals are set and the mind is made up, no argument based solely on reason and practicality is likely to divert the passionate INFJ from a mission or chosen project. Whether this characteristic manifests itself as admirable tenacity or bull-headed stubbornness may determine the individual INFJ's potential for life success."
hmm.. sounds pretty close to me. I think it's .5% to 2% of the population depending on who's counting. I'm engaged to an extremely wild ENFP so I guess opposites do attract...

INFP-strong in all those areas. This fits with my "Erasmus the theologian" persona. I gotta find out who that guy is one of these days. He can't be too great because no one ever quotes him in hot discussions. What a pansy!

I can't get the page to open with the tests, so I have no idea what the Enneagram is. I know I'm another INFP. We're in good company, guys - Albert Schweitzer and Adolph Hitler were both INFPs.
Someone up-thread said "counselor," but if I remember right, it is "healer."
Erasmus is less known as a theologian and more well-known as one of the fathers of the Enlightenment. He could have been INFP. I don't know.

Conscious 3w2
Achievers who focus on cultivating, 3w2s enjoy being the life of their environment, but they can sometimes come off as inauthentic in their attempts to impress and/or win over others.
Unconscious 2w1
You don't like being alone. You want control over most environments you are in. You have a high level of self-control, probably too high. You prefer listening to speaking. You are more guided by your feelings than your thoughts.

ESTJ - Administrator (but I hated those type jobs)
9w1 and 1w9 I did not really understand these at all. I'm not at all what my conscious rating says but I'm very like what the unconscious is. But I did not cut and paste the descriptions.
Basically it says that I maintain a peaceful attitude to get what I want. But, I'm so changed as a Christian that peace is my goal. Does that make any sense? Didn't think so! :P

When I take enneagram tests, I usually come up either 1w2 or 3w2. When it comes to MBTI, I'm an ESXJ (slightly E, very S, I flipflop between T & F, and very J). I know it's uncommon for a woman to have a strong T side, but hey, that's how He made me. :)

Adolph Hitler were both INFPs.
Cheer up Crazy Liz- most sites think Hitler was an INFJ. You can't argue with his being a judger. I'm an INFP also. A really good description is at
http://www.personalitypage.com/INFP.html.
My Enneagram types were:
4 Conscious personality- fours are unique and create their own distinct culture. The experience the highs and lows of life intensely. The take great pride in their aesthetic tastes. Fours often feel like misplaced children and they long for a sense of real family.
4w3 unconscious personiality- highly introverted and indecisive. You are selective of your freinds and can be close minded. You tend to do what feels right and sufer from low self-control. When you have strong feelings for some one, you often hide them.

Hey Lynne Clomina,
Are you sure you took it right both times? It's not supposed to change that much. I read on one site that you should answer the questions fairly fast and be brutally honest about your self.
I've only ever taken it as a Christian and always come out INFP which are called "healer, idealists". Here are quotes about INFP from a website called personalitypage.com
"INFPs, more than other intuitive feeling types, are focused on making the world a better place for people. Their primary goal is to find out their meaning in life. What is their purpose? How can they best serve humanity in their lives?" ....Highly creative, artistic and spiritual, they can produce wonderful works of art, music and literature. INFPs are natural artists. They will find great satisfaction of they encourage and develop their artistic abilities. .... They're more spiritually aware than most people. Most INFPs have strong faith. ....hyper-aware of social injustice.
Our down side is to tend toward isolation an self focus. I definately struggle with that, and spend alot of time in prayer about it. He hasn't given up on me yet!
So INFPs are a pretty good "creation" too. God needs all kinds to fufill the work of his kingdom or he wouldn't have made us so diverse.

oh yeah, i didnt mean that they werent - i just meant it was a HUGE change - as if i were a whole different person...
i did take it pretty quick - twice, the short and the long test. and they were identical.
i cant figure out that enneagram thing. i'm 1w9 and 9w1, but i dont remember which is concious and unconcious. and what's with the 'w', anyways? i did that THREE times, and they all came out different - but the last one (that i quoted above) seemed the most accurate. but, whatever. :sigh: i just dont get it.
