What part of the Bible has had the most impact on your life? What verses have changed your life or made your life better?

What verses really convicted you of sin when you needed it?

As far as books of the Bible that has affected my life, I would say John, James, and 1st John, but to be honest, I love them all.

As for personal verses I would have to say.

2nd Samuel 22, Psalm 45:1 (being called to write and then finding that verse, talk about cold chills.), Philippians 1:6, John 14:1, 1st John 1:9

A book that near killed me was and is Ecclesiastes. If you've never read it, read it! But be warned it will change you! I have fought with going into ministry for a long time and the last time I read through Ecclesiastes.... the fight was over. God was the winner.

For me I guess it would have to be Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

ALot of people like this verse but it is the last part that I never knew before that got me. "to give you a future and a hope". Not one or the other or a hope for a future, but both. I never had hope, let alone a future.
