In an earlier thread that was closed, a person inquired about the "Law". This was a response from a forum member:
You do know that theres 613 laws, not just 10, right?
HT:
Historically, we will find that God gave Moshe the Ten Declarations. This is what was put into the Ark of the Covenant. The remaining are 603 are a further breakdown of the ten according to the interpretation of men. Any opinions?

HT,
Read the Torah. If you accept it to be inspired, you can find several instances in
which it becomes clear that G-d was giving them all the laws. Every tiny little
commandment in the Torah was given by G-d Himself. Judaism does have its interpretation of the laws, but not within the Torah.

HigherTruth,
I see what you're saying, and somewhat agree.
However, it was the Torah, not the 'great 10' that pre-existed within HaShem.

Some of HaShem's most important commandments are not in the 10!(Hold not a gradge in your heart) Why? to show that the torah is the one that is a way of life, and the ten commandment sereve as the objective!
Or at least that the way I see it! :) Of course I am often wrong, but hey its about learning right.
