In that thread, I have added a breif history outlining the historical division between Christianity and Messianic Judaism.
If anyone would like to add to that, I'd love to hear what research you've got!

I think its the culture, I find MJ facitating; many MJ keep the practices of orthodox Jews, like Christ did, but some say MJ's are "social" Jews, no offence.
regulary Christianity is has its own traditions, some church's have many, while others do not.
MJ reflects Jewish culture, while the rest of Christianity is mostly Western culture.
